Bishop & Company is seeking a Business Development Manager on behalf of a respected nonprofit organization in Honolulu. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional with experience in fundraising, business development, account management, or corporate partnerships who enjoys building meaningful connections and making a positive impact in the community.
As the Business Development Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns and corporate partnerships across Oahu. You will develop fundraising strategies, strengthen partner relationships, analyze campaign performance, and help drive donor engagement and revenue growth.
Essential ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns and corporate partnerships with responsibility for relationship management, strategy, and revenue growth.Build, maintain, and expand relationships with corporate partners through meetings, presentations, campaign activities, and ongoing engagement.Develop and implement fundraising and engagement strategies to increase participation and donor support.Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve results.Partner with internal teams to support campaign execution, donor stewardship, communications, and organizational initiatives.Maintain accurate records within CRM and fundraising systems to support reporting, forecasting, and account management.Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and partner engagements.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, business development, account management, corporate partnerships, or a related field.Experience managing multiple client, partner, or stakeholder relationships simultaneously.Experience utilizing CRM platforms, donor databases, or similar systems.Skills & AbilitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive results with minimal supervision.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and identify opportunities for growth.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with CRM and collaboration platforms such as Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, or similar systems preferred.Professional, collaborative, adaptable, and customer-service oriented.RequirementsMust currently reside in Hawaii or have established plans to relocate.Must be able to travel regularly throughout Oahu for partner meetings and community events.Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current automobile insurance may be required.Work EnvironmentHybrid work environment combining office and field-based work throughout Oahu.Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required during peak campaign periods.Regular use of computers, CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and virtual meeting platforms.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.About Bishop & Company
