We are seeking a Line/prep Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. It is a middle eastern style cafe and bakery with a focus in Israeli street food.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prep work for current and future shiftsFood prep including salads, sandwiches, pizzas and moreClean up and tidyingPacking food for pre-packed purchasesQualifications:
Previous experience in a kosher restaurant is a plus, but not essentialServeSafe or Food Handler’s CertificationAdvanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipesAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressureExcellent time management skillsAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
