    JOB DESCRIPTION

    BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for an Income Tax Manager. This position can be filled in multiple locations throughout the BHE GT&S footprint, including Glen Allen, VA, Bridgeport, WV, Lusby, MD or Columbia, SC.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful candidate will:
    Serve as the BHE GT&S primary contact on income tax matters. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting according to ASC 740. Manage income tax function ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all federal state and local income tax returns and monthly quarterly and annual financial statements. Support tax planning and forecasting. Provide written and/or oral responses and testimony to federal state and regulatory authorities and supports all regulatory matters concerning income taxes. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    At least seven years' big four or industry equivalent tax experience. A strong tax provision and ASC 740 background is highly preferred.
    Strong federal, state, and local income tax compliance experience. Strong tax consolidation experience, both with financial statements and tax returns. Working knowledge of tax systems. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws, tax compliance systems, regulatory and
    tax accounting, and company operations. Ability to communicate complex concepts to others. Knowledge of tax research methodology. Affiliation with national, state and industry tax associations. Effective written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Effective analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Project management skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

    Education
    Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)

    BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as an MC&C Technician/MC&C Technician at our Burch Ridge Transmission located in Proctor, WV.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    This role installs tests maintains and repairs equipment (electronic gas measurement telemetering microwave radio satellite equipment chromatographs etc.) to facilitate effective telecommunication gas measurement and remote-control operations. Directs and participates in installation of telecommunications equipment. Inspects repairs and calibrates equipment. Interprets and implements gas measurement and SCADA device installation specifications. Performs design programming installation and operation of electronic gas measurement and control systems. Inspects and tests facilities and equipment to identify malfunctions. Troubleshoots problems replaces equipment/components and repairs calibrates and maintains equipment. Ensures installations and equipment comply with regulations. May train MC&C Technician Trainees. May supervise MC&C projects. Maintains interactive work relationship with Gas Measurement personnel Specialists and Engineers to accurately and effectively complete job responsibilities
    Successful candidates are required to live within commuting distance of 50 Miles.

    Relocation assistance for this position is available dependent upon eligibility requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Two (2) year or higher degree in electronics engineering or related AND a minimum of two (2) years direct hands-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs/RTUs and Computer Systems.

    OR

    A minimum of four (4) years direct hand-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs/RTUs and Computer Systems.
    Knowledge of current electronic, radio, digital and remote-control theory. Knowledge of regulations and standards (FCC, FAA, AGA, API, NEC, etc.) Ability to carry equipment and parts (50 - 100 pounds) from vehicle to work site, possibly over rough terrain. Ability to interpret installation manuals, technical instructions, wiring diagrams and blueprints. Ability to prepare technical reports and repair / maintenance records.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are seeking highly motivated Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering students who are willing to work in an industrial environment. Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
    Participating in site visits and assisting the engineering project managers with technical evaluations and problem solving. Some schedule management and review using Oracle P6, Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel. Assisting in financial estimates by updating forecasts with quotes and proposals received from vendors, comparing actuals to forecasts and helping maintain budget goals. Design calculations and verification of third-party calculations utilizing in house tools and software under the guidance and oversight of engineering project managers. Estimation and design engineering for potential 2027 projects. Support on FEED and other engineering tasks for projects in development.
    Individuals must have a desire to learn and produce as part of a safety conscious workplace. An independent source of transportation for this summer 2026 internship is needed as there is limited public transportation options in the area.

    Your summer internship will be a minimum of 8 weeks on site (June 1 - July 24). Please note: the internship could be extended for up to 11 weeks considering your summer schedule and the needs of the business.

    Successful candidates who are 50 miles or more from the assigned work location may be eligible for a one-time housing stipend.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation and control circuits and equipment related to natural gas processes, such as the compression, dehydration, measurement, liquid extraction, liquid fractionation, transmission, and storage of natural gas. Completes instrumentation and control system work related to product loading on trucks, rail, tank cars, and river barges. Reviews engineering design, documents, process diagrams, instrumentation diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, and logic diagrams. Reviews communication and network drawings, set-point tables, etc. Performs installations including mounting, wiring, connecting, testing, configuring, and programming instruments and devices. Performs maintenance including routine calibration, and functional testing of process instruments and devices. Documents calibration data collected during inspections, utilizing the instrument inspection monitoring system. Verifies data communication systems providing real-time process and alarm information to the facility control center. Troubleshoots, including utilization of equipment such as a laptop computer, multi-meter instrument, device communicator, device software, documenting process calibrator. etc. Develops and maintains interactive work relationships. Directs, advises, instructs, inspects, supports, and/or assists contractors and employees in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of assets. Ensures regulatory and compliance standards are met.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    NGL Technician requires two-year or higher degree in electronics engineering or related field AND a minimum of two years direct, hands-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs, and Computer Systems OR A minimum of four years direct hands-on experience with Instrumentation, PLC's, RTUs and computer systems.

    Senior NGL Technician requires two-year or higher degree in electronics engineering or related field AND a minimum of five years direct, hands-on experience in instrumentation, PLCs, RTUs and Computer Systems, OR A minimum of seven years direct, hands-on experience in instrumentation, PLCs, RTUs and Computer Systems.

    Both levels require :

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Associate LNG Technician (Instrumentation) / LNG Technician (Instrumentation) / Sr LNG Technician (Instrumentation) reports directly to the Instrument Supervisor and is a member of multi-disciplined crew responsible for the SAFE Operation and Maintenance of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import/export and re-gasification terminal including LNG process systems infrastructure controls, emergency response, electrical and emergency power generation, turbines, auxiliary control support systems, PLC, and Distributed Control System (DCS).

    Dedication sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures is essential for the safe reliable and efficient operation of the terminal.

    The successful candidate must be willing to work in an industrial environment with the bulk of their time spent performingfield work including working on complex and detailed systems, instrument installation, configuration, inspection, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and repairs of instruments that would be found in industrial facilities such as a power station, chemical plant, manufacturing facility, petrochemical NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing or hydrocarbon facility.     QUALIFICATIONS

    Associate LNG Technician (Instrumentation)

    Sr. LNG Technician (Instrumentation)

    Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Associate LNG Technician (Mechanical)/LNG Technician (Mechanical)/Sr LNG Technician (Mechanical) reports directly to the Mechanical Supervisor and is a member of multi-disciplined crew responsible for the operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import/export and re-gasification terminal including LNG process systems infrastructure controls and emergency response and operation of rotating equipment. Dedication sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures is essential for the safe reliable and efficient operation of the terminal. The successful candidate must be willing to work in an industrial environment with the bulk of their time performing field work including inspection testing service repair. The Sr. LNG Technician (Mechanical) works on complex and detailed systems troubleshoots and repairs fans, pumps, compressors, gas turbines, motors, vessels, utilities, piping, valves, tanks unloading arms related components etc. that are found in industrial such as a power station, chemical plant, manufacturing facility, petrochemical NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing or hydrocarbon facility and replaces component parts as required.
