    BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for an Income Tax Manager. This position can be filled in multiple locations throughout the BHE GT&S footprint, including Glen Allen, VA, Bridgeport, WV, Lusby, MD or Columbia, SC.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful candidate will:
    Serve as the BHE GT&S primary contact on income tax matters. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting according to ASC 740. Manage income tax function ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all federal state and local income tax returns and monthly quarterly and annual financial statements. Support tax planning and forecasting. Provide written and/or oral responses and testimony to federal state and regulatory authorities and supports all regulatory matters concerning income taxes. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    At least seven years' big four or industry equivalent tax experience. A strong tax provision and ASC 740 background is highly preferred.
    Strong federal, state, and local income tax compliance experience. Strong tax consolidation experience, both with financial statements and tax returns. Working knowledge of tax systems. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws, tax compliance systems, regulatory and
    tax accounting, and company operations. Ability to communicate complex concepts to others. Knowledge of tax research methodology. Affiliation with national, state and industry tax associations. Effective written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Effective analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Project management skills.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Supervisor-LNG Operations (Mechanical) reports to the Superintendent-LNG Operations (Mechanical Maintenance) and provides leadership to a maintenance Mechanical team and oversees maintenance activities of a multi-disciplined crew responsible for the SAFE Operation and Maintenance of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import/export and liquefaction/re-gasification terminal including LNG process systems infrastructure and power/steam generation rotating machinery.

    Dedication sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures is essential for the safe reliable and efficient operation of the terminal.

    The successful candidate must be willing to work in an industrial environment with the bulk of their time supervising electrical or mechanical craft performing field work including inspection, testing, service, repair, configuration, calibration and installation of electrical or mechanical equipment. The Supervisor-LNG Operations (Mechanical) supervises mechanical technicians performing work on complex and detailed systems troubleshooting and repairs of fans, pumps, compressors, gas turbines, motors, vessels, utilities, piping, valves, tanks unloading arms related components etc. that are found in industrial such as a power station, chemical plant, manufacturing facility, petrochemical NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing or hydrocarbon facility and replaces component parts as required.

    Duties and Responsibilities: Direct teams in the operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of station equipment and facilities.Set and communicate performance standards and professionalism.Perform general leadership and administrative duties including, but not limited to, employee performance reviews, performance management, safety and training.Provide leadership in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, condition-based assessments, maintenance plans and work methods for multi-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance teams.Lead crews to moor ships at Cove Point berth and connect Cove Point LNG offloading / unloading arms to ships.Monitor work activities to identify and resolve schedule impacts and conflicts. Mastery of the subject matter or diversified knowledge of principles and practice in broad areas of assignments and related fields.The candidate will Supervise and work with the team's Maintenance Coordinator scheduled inspections and corrective maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations best practices and regulatory requirements to include but not limited to: FERC PHMSA NFPA USCG and EPA. Attend daily and monthly planning meetings to provide input and coordinate work activities. Monitor work activities to identify and resolve schedule impacts and conflicts.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    This role supports the Maintenance Planning Department at the Cove Point LNG facility in providing safe efficient reliable and financially sound operations. The candidate will coordinate scheduled inspections and corrective maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations best practices and regulatory requirements to include but not limited to: FERC PHMSA NFPA USCG and EPA.

    Other duties include:
    Develop and maintain equipment records, maintenance plans, procedures, schedules and test forms within the Maximo Maintenance Asset Management System. Attend daily and monthly planning meetings to provide input and coordinate work activities. Support the scheduling of outages vendor services and equipment shutdowns. Prepare automated and manual work order packages, research maintenance history and identify required parts to ensure timely scheduling and completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Conduct walk-downs to verify engineering documents and assess plant conditions. Determine material manpower and service requirements while supporting capital and O&M costs within the work order system. Interface with technicians, supervisors and operators to clarify issues regarding scope materials and testing requirements. Create Maximo and Oracle requisitions for services materials and parts for emergent work. Monitor work activities to identify and resolve schedule impacts and conflicts. Ensure that priorities and compliance requirements are communicated. Submit required reports as necessary to meet Federal State and Local compliance regulations.Preferred: Maintenance craft, lead or supervisor experience in power generation, LNG production/processing, petrochemical industries or journeyman level or higher Operations experience in power generation, LNG production/processing or petrochemical industries.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    The LNG Plant Control Systems Technician / Sr LNG Plant Control System Technician (DCS) reports directly to the DCS Supervisor and is a member of a multi-disciplined crew responsible for the SAFE Operation and Maintenance of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import /export and re-gasification terminal including LNG process systems infrastructure controls, emergency response, electrical and emergency power generation, turbines, auxiliary control support systems, PLC, and Distributed Control System (DCS).

The LNG Plant Control Systems Technician / Sr LNG Plant Control System Technician (DCS) specific job responsibilities include the following:

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Plant Control System Technician:
    2+ years of related experience. Applied knowledge of automated control system instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, thermocouples, regulators and other industrial componentsCompetency in performing Distributed Controls System (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) changes in logic, graphics, control loop configuration and network configuration.Previous work experience demonstrating technical knowledge of Emerson DeltaV, ABB Infi-90 and Allen Bradley control systems. Knowledge of environmental regulation compliance systems. Ability to provide guidance and/or training to less experienced Technicians and Operators. Competent in workstation and server software and hardware troubleshooting and repair. Strong computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel Analytical and deductive reasoning skills, oral and written communication skills, technical writing skills, instrumentation skills, and mathematical skills.     Sr Plant Control System Technician:
    A minimum of 5+ years direct experience with operations, instrumentation, DCS, PLC's and Computer systems. Create and manage changes for project construction and in-service schedules, ordering materials, and coordinating contractors and operations personnel. Develop and maintain minimum standards for fabricators and vendors to ensure access to quality equipment, fabrication, and integration services. Ensure adequate communications with stakeholders to minimize concerns regarding supply chain, pipeline integrity, measurement, safety, and regulatory. Provide technical and commissioning support for gas measurement, regulation, and control systems installations. Manage multiple issues, projects, and personnel over a large operating area. Support capital project development by performing capacity studies of existing facilities. Develop technical documentation, equipment specifications, training materials and installation and testing procedures for gas measurement, regulation, and control systems and operations. Develop and maintain a database of measurement and regulation facility costs to provide estimates for new facilities/projects. Develop and conduct training classes for gas measurement, regulation, and control systems and operations. Provide data and recommendations related to gas measurement, regulation, and control systems and operations to leadership, operations, gas control, marketing, and other internal/external customers. Provide engineering support to technicians and other internal/external customers to promote quality measurement practices, fuel gas accountability, and reduce lost and unaccounted for (LAUF) gas. Perform capacity calculations for relief valves and regulators to ensure safe operations and compliance with federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Engineer I:
    0-2+ years of related engineering experience

    Engineer II:
    3+ years of related engineering experience

    Engineer I/ Engineer II:
    Four-year ABET accredited engineering degree (Engineer) Ability to monitor changes in technology with skill in developing, testing and recommending new ideas and strategies for the utilization of those changes. Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports, project schedules, and cost estimates. Ability to lead, work independently, communicate effectively, and establish rapport. Ability to define problems, collect accurate data, draw valid conclusions, and develop solutions. Demonstrated ability to effectively operate a personal computer and common software applications.
    Education
    Bachelor

    Preferred Degree
    Engineering required.
