    BEYOND Quality of Life PLLC is a locally owned mobile outpatient rehabilitation practice dedicated to helping adults and seniors remain independent in their homes and communities. We provide one-on-one occupational and physical therapy services in patients’ homes under Medicare Part B and other insurance plans, allowing therapists to deliver truly patient-centered care without the productivity demands of traditional healthcare settings.

    Position Summary


    We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team serving Smyth County, Virginia. This position offers exceptional flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while providing high-quality rehabilitation in the comfort of their homes.

    Responsibilities


    Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.Treat patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care.Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, pain management, and functional independence.Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, fall prevention, home safety, and disease management.Accurately document patient care using our electronic medical record system.Communicate effectively with supervising therapists, physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.Maintain compliance with Medicare Part B regulations and professional standards.


    Qualifications


    Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current Virginia PTA license in good standing.CPR certification.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Excellent communication and time-management skills.Comfortable working independently in a mobile setting.Home health or outpatient experience is a plus but not required.
