    We are seeking a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE to join our team in Chino, California! Our Warehouse Associate performs an array of functions that include, but aren't limited to, loading and unloading shipments, vaulting and un-vaulting shipments, inventory control and other general warehouse duties.

    Responsibilities for our Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:
    Assist with shipping, receiving, unloading and loading trucks;Move trailers in and out of the docks;Moving materials and items from storage areas to shipping designated areas;Pad wrapping and paper pad wrapping furniture;Vaulting and un-vaulting shipments;Use the warehouse locator system using Asset Controls windfall program for commercial and residential goods;Ensure good housekeeping and clean up including the parking lot grounds;Other duties assigned by management.
    The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);CDL Class A License (or able and willing to get a CDL Class A License) (required);1-year warehouse experience (required) (Moving & Storage experience is highly preferred);Forklift certification is a mandatory expectation of this position. Existing certification is preferred, but the company will train if the desired candidates does not possess;Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;Experience in the safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet pickers, and other material handling equipment;Ability to multitask in a fast paced, stressful environment;Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;Strong organizational and time management skills;Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen;Dedication to providing each customer with a positive, memorable experience
    Physical Requirements for our Warehouse Associate include:
    Stand, walk on non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal (to include fiberglass ramps placed on 30-degree angle);Use of finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms;Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, crawl and climb stairs;Occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 75 pounds without mechanical aid;Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and accurately read written and computer generated information in English;Ability to work in extreme weather environments (both a climate-controlled warehouse and outdoors in all-weather environments and conditions)

    Berger Transfer & Storage is seeking a DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULER to join our team in Columbus, Ohio! Our Distribution Scheduler is responsible for routing in-home white glove deliveries of new furniture. This individual will be working with our routing software to create daily routes for drivers. Other responsibilities include working with the local furniture store and customers to schedule deliveries and resolve any delivery issues. This role will work with warehouse crews to determine that all items for the deliveries are at our warehouse and ready for delivery prior to scheduling.

    Responsibilities for our Distribution Schedulers include but are not limited to:
    Use delivery software to create daily routes for drivers;Work with warehouse crews to determine that all items for deliveries are present prior to scheduling delivery;Track items to be returned to vendor and work with the account to schedule return trucks;Assist in receiving trucks and verifying everything matches the manifest;Calling clients to inform them of delivery date and time;Other duties as assigned by management.
    The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent (required);College degree (preferred);Minimum of two years of customer service experience (required);Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;Strong evaluation skills with high accuracy and attention to detail;Good verbal and written communication skills;Ability to calculate currency conversions and weight/volume calculations;Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.

    We are seeking a LONG HAUL DISPATCHER to join our team in the Twin Cities. Our Long Haul Dispatcher will be accountable for dispatching long distance drivers throughout the United States while these drivers pack, load, haul and deliver corporate America's employees as well as Private Transferees who are moving from one location to another. They will also make sure all SOP's are being followed and drivers are in compliance with DOT standards.
    Assign, plan and dispatch drivers/contractors, working closely with management and Operations team(s);Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain the goals of Berger;Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities;Maintain data integrity to ensure that accurate information is available for internal and external customers;Oversee contractor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery;Other duties as assigned
    The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);Ability to work well with a team, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, constantly changing, high demand work environment;Minimum of 1 year of Owner Operator Interstate planning and dispatch experience is required;Previous Household Goods experience is required;Strong problem solving skills;Self starter motivated by daily challenges;Excellent organizational skills;Robust geographical knowledge
