This role is ideal for an engineer with strong mechanical/electrical/building systems exposure who enjoys a mix of field work, troubleshooting, project coordination, and technical problem solving. The Commissioning Engineer serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for executing commissioning plans, supporting testing and startup activities, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and ensuring systems perform as designed.
This is not a purely desk-based engineering role. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable on job sites, capable of leading testing activities, and able to communicate effectively with owners, contractors, architects, and engineering teams.

Journeyman Electrician
$30-$41/hour plus sign-on bonus!!

Qualifications:
Do you have your Journeyman License in the state of Michigan?Do you have programming and troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley?Are you able to effectively use typical test and calibration equipment including, RTD calibrators, digital multimeters, 4 to 20 ma calibration unit? Field Service Technician
Area: East Coast (NY/NJ preferred, travel required)
Shift: Day shift + flexible / occasional after-hours
Job Summary:
Provide installation, service, and preventative maintenance on access control and entrance systems (turnstiles, gates, etc.) Troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical issues on-site and remotely Support customers and partners with technical guidance and issue resolution Assist sales team with technical input during new installations and upgrades Maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on first-time fix and service quality Complete service documentation, reports, and updates in ERP systems Travel regionally (primarily Northeast) with occasional overnight stays Read Less
