Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Allied Healthcare (Bodily Injury) claims professionals, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous growth.Drive performance outcomes through effective management of KPIs, best‐practice adherence, file reviews and quality assurance.Analyze data to assist with action planning, coaching and development.Review and refine coverage analyses, including denials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with policy intent to coach team members.Oversee litigation strategy including strategy, cost analysis and exposure.Identify emerging issues, trends, and risks; develop actionable insights and present recommendations to senior leadership.Allocate new, reopened, and transferred claims based on complexity and severity.Manage escalated customer and broker concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Participate in Claims Leadership team and presentations.Support the VP with reserve analysis, claims trends, and executive‐level reporting.Actively contribute to the Claims/Underwriting/Actuarial feedback loop to strengthen cross‐functional alignment.Manage performance management, team recruiting and onboarding.
Requirements:
10+ years of claims experience, including technical expertise in Allied Healthcare and Bodily Injury professional liability.3+ years of people management experience.
