Bedi Dental Group is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our established practice. Our ideal candidates accept a high level of responsibility and provide support for our Dentists so they can more efficiently care for patients, such as completing intake paperwork, updating patient records, sterilizing and organizing dental tools and assisting as needed during dental procedures. We welcome Dental Assistants who are excellent communicators and can build strong relationships with both patients and co-workers. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients.Ensure a high level of patient attentiveness, understanding and care.Maintain treatment room to ensure cleanliness and sterilization per OSHA regulations. Securely store and handle patient records in compliance with state and federal requirements, including HIPAA privacy and security regulations.Promptly send out and monitor all dental laboratory cases.Track cases and referrals to and from other doctors.Ensure that treatment rooms are stocked at all times.Help in other areas of the office when necessary (i.e.; answering phones, unpacking supplies, completing insurance forms, moving former patient records, ect.).Perform expanded functions and other tasks as assigned by the dentist.Qualifications
Graduate of accredited dental assisting program.A minimum of 2 years, out of school experience in a clinical setting.State certification to practice Dental Assistance, and meet all applicable state requirements.Compliance with state dental practice requirements (e.g., x-ray requirements, OSHA training).Strong computer skills (List of specific dental software(s) previously worked with).Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix knowledge is a plus!Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff.Leading with compassion and a commitment to the full patient care experience.The Bedi Dental Group Experience

Our doctors receive 40% of their respective collections, while the office pays 60% of lab fees from your preferred lab. Guaranteed daily rate for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat Periodontal disease. Perform surgical procedures such as gum grafts, crown lengthening, and dental implants.Evaluate and manage patient care with complex medical histories.Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with patients.Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.Collaborate with General Dentists and other specialists.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.Provide non-surgical therapies not limited to scaling and root planning.Remain self-educated on the latest research and advancements in periodontics.Qualifications
Board certification in periodontics.Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree w/perio residency.Specialized training in periodontics from an accredited program.A minimum of 2 years, out of University experience in a clinical setting.State licensure to practice dentistry.Proficiency in advanced periodontal procedures.Ability to develop and navigate complex treatment plans.Knowledge of the latest research in periodontal therapies.Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, multi-personnel office setting.
