Bedi Dental Group is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our established practice. Our ideal candidates accept a high level of responsibility and provide support for our Dentists so they can more efficiently care for patients, such as completing intake paperwork, updating patient records, sterilizing and organizing dental tools and assisting as needed during dental procedures. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients.Ensure a high level of patient attentiveness, understanding and care.Maintain treatment room to ensure cleanliness and sterilization per OSHA regulations. Securely store and handle patient records in compliance with state and federal requirements, including HIPAA privacy and security regulations.Promptly send out and monitor all dental laboratory cases.Track cases and referrals to and from other doctors.Ensure that treatment rooms are stocked at all times.Help in other areas of the office when necessary (i.e.; answering phones, unpacking supplies, completing insurance forms, moving former patient records, ect.).Perform expanded functions and other tasks as assigned by the dentist.Qualifications
