The Parts Representative will perform a variety of customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to sales, receiving and delivery of parts.
Essential functions include:
Assist in keeping parts department clean and professionalRecord all sales (including lost sales) and/or customer transactions using Company provided systems/tools (i.e. PFW) and guidelinesAssist in maintaining the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and ensure customer satisfactionTake a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and or reporting discrepanciesEnsure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely mannerReceive, ship, and store parts as needed in accordance with DOT local, state, and federal guidelinesProactively study and stay current on industry and product informationPick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as neededMark and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system and assist with cycle count dutiesPerform inventory as directed by Parts ManagerMaintain positive and professional working relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer servicePerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient mannerFollow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbookParticipate in all company driven communication efforts including department meetings, electronic communications (email and text) and other related effortsProactively seek and participate in available company sponsored training to develop skills and knowledgeMaintain prompt and regular attendance according to department and company policiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work environment includes an office setting in or around service/parts departments and exposure to outside weather conditions, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, dust, electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, heights and close proximity to moving mechanical parts.
Physical demands include standing, bending, stooping, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs., walking, reaching above, pushing and pulling, and using hands and fingers for fine manipulation. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear at moderate noise levels.
Position type/expected hours of work are full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel is up to 95%.

Preference will be given to candidates with Construction Technology or Construction Equipment experience. High School Diploma required. Must have a focus and willingness to complete task with an extraordinary level of detail and accuracy. Must be willing to work on job sites as a sole resource for diagnostics and repairs. Must have proficient computer skills as well as an advanced aptitude in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to clearly communicate in person, by phone and in writing. Must be able to present business information on a one-on-one or group basis. Must have strong time management skills. Must have a clean driving record.
