Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst – Data & Automation supports daily proforma financial reporting, executive decision-making and financial process automation within a complex, multi-entity organization. Reporting directly to the EVP, Chief Accounting Officer, this role serves as a bridge between Finance, Accounting and financial systems. The position requires strong financial statement expertise, advanced data and automation capabilities and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable decision tools.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
Prepare daily proforma income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsAnalyze financial results at both entity and consolidated levelsValidate and understand multi-entity rollups, eliminations and financial statement hierarchiesTrace consolidated financial results to underlying entity-level data and source systemsSupport executive leadership with what-if and scenario modeling, including balance sheet actions (loan and deposit growth, securities activity, funding changes)Build integrated financial projections, cash flow forecasts and NPV analysesDevelop and maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards and ad hoc analysesPartner with Accounting team members to enhance data automation and reporting processesDesign and implement automation using advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, analytics, programming or AI toolsWork with ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP) from a technical reporting and analysis perspectiveCommunicate effectively with executives, finance leadership, accounting teams and technical partnersQualifications (Education, Experience, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A or financial reportingStrong understanding of financial statements and multi-entity financial structuresWorking knowledge of consolidation concepts, rollups and eliminationsAdvanced Excel skills (including Power Pivot); Power BI experience requiredExperience working with ERP systems from a technical reporting perspectiveDemonstrated experience building data or process automation in a finance or accounting environmentPreferred: SQL, AI-enabled analytics exposure, CPA or CFA (or progress toward certification)Benefits options include:
