    Overview
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction plumbing, and related mechanical skills. This role involves performing service, repair, and installation work across various commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. A strong background in construction site experience, blueprint reading, and mechanical understanding is essential for success in this position.

    Duties

    Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings
    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
    Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus safely and efficiently
    Perform heavy lifting tasks and utilize carpentry skills for remodeling or maintenance projects
    Conduct field service work including troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site
    Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new builds or renovations
    Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing infrastructure when necessary
    Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including heavy lifting procedures and the use of personal protective equipment

    Qualifications

    Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman plumber certification or license required
    Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or field service roles
    Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading, and schematics reading
    Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and remodeling processes
    Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
    Strong problem-solving skills with basic math aptitude for measurements and calculations
    Experience with carpentry, maintenance person tasks, assembly work, and general maintenance preferred
    Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
    Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus

    Pay: $28.61 - $41.00 per hour
