The Opportunity - Field Service Technician
We're looking for mechanically-inclined problem-solvers to join our Field Service team. No pump experience required – we'll train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine desire to learn. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will mentor you in becoming an expert in pump systems, controls, and equipment maintenance.

Customer On-Site Service (primary):
Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair pump systems and controlsPerform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, and control panelsUse electrical meters and hand tools to troubleshoot equipment issuesInstall and commission new pump systemsRespond to emergency service calls when neededDocument all work performed with detailed service reportsShop Support:
Assist with pump rebuilds and repairs in our Indianapolis facilityHelp prepare equipment for field installationOrganize and maintain service vehicles and equipmentSupport senior technicians on complex projectsSafety & Professionalism:
Follow all safety protocols without exceptionComplete required paperwork accurately and on timeMaintain professional appearance and communication with customersParticipate in ongoing training and certification programsWhat We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with clean driving record (will operate company vehicle)Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionallyComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBasic computer skills for service report documentationStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to safetyReliable attendance and punctualityPreferred (But Not Required) Qualifications:

The Opportunity - Commercial End User Equipment Sales
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic Commercial sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in your designated territory within the state of Indiana.
This isn't just another sales job – it's your chance to become a technical expert and trusted advisor in the commercial pumping and HVAC industry. You'll work with cutting-edge equipment, solving real engineering challenges for some of Indiana's most prestigious facilities including universities, hospitals, stadiums, and major commercial buildings.

Duties

Summary
We are seeking a Project Estimator to join our team at BBC Pump and Equipment Company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and providing essential support to our Commercial/Industrial sales team with a focus on pumps, boilers, packaged systems, controls and more.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for various projects for HVAC, Plumbing and Process equipment for the commercial market.Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate pricing.Collaborate with market team lead and sales personnel to develop budgets and timelines.Utilize quotation and project management software.Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.Monitor ongoing projects for cost control and provide updates as necessary.Requirements
