    SUMMARY

    You are a sales and revenue driver, passionate about exceeding goals and setting new records, and a high-integrity leader who thrives in a fast-paced “hands-on” environment.  In this role, you will lead the business development sales team.  This role comes at a particularly exciting time in our growth, as we build the business development team and develop the growth strategy for our Texas market.  This is a high-profile role leading one of the top sales teams in the entire BBB system, with a constant focus on improving execution while building and leading an amazing & dynamic team.  This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct and meaningful impact on BBB’s overall success and growth.

    The best candidates will be experienced sales leaders with at least 2 years of Sales Director experience who know tech and won’t settle for anything less than the opportunity to build a world-class Sales organization and team.

     

    ROLE-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES

    Build a sales, performance, and winning culture in the Business Development Team. Be a motivator for your managers and team by being available, positive, and solution-oriented.Enhance existing lead funnels and client outreach for current and future accredited businesses and coordinate their implementation across all sales channels.Develop growth strategies with the executive team.Create accountability within your team by enhancing metrics and aligning compensation and promotions with them.Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting.Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success.Fill management gaps by building and training individuals and teams in Sales and Account Management.Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals.Drive a “lean startup” style environment of constant experimentation and learning.Leverage customer research (quantity and quality) to provide strategic leadership for brand promotion and positioning.

    BBB Heart of Texas is seeking a well-rounded, experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment.     About the position
    As our Accounting Manager, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. In our lean accounting team, this position offers the unique opportunity to engage across the full accounting cycle—from payroll and reconciliations to financial reporting and analysis.

    You will lead core financial processes including payroll administration, month-end close, account reconciliations, and performance analysis. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in strengthening internal controls, improving reporting reliability, and ensuring compliance with established policies.

    This role goes beyond traditional accounting management—you will partner across departments to provide actionable financial insights that support strategic decision-making and organizational success. You will also oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, guiding coordinators to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in all transactions.

    Additionally, you will take an active role in enhancing our financial systems and processes—identifying opportunities for improvement, resolving system challenges, and implementing solutions that increase efficiency and clarity. By tracking key performance indicators, analyzing discrepancies, and recommending improvements, you will help foster a culture of financial transparency and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

    Essential duties and responsibilities

    Oversee and manage all financial operations, including payroll month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. This includes monitoring and analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders.Supervise the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. Provide guidance and support to these teams while implementing effective internal controls and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.Drive the establishment and management of key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reviewing financial performance against organizational goals. Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial processes and implement corrective actions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies align with the organization’s broader goals, providing financial insights and reporting that support decision-making. Contribute to audit preparation, financial statement review, and other key financial management tasks as needed.

    Additional Duties:

    Ensure continuous development of financial processes to improve overall organizational effectiveness.Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with company goals.Provide guidance and mentorship to the AP and AR teams, fostering an environment of growth and efficiency.Actively participate in management meetings to provide financial insights and contribute to decision-making processes.Perform other duties as required by the Director of Finance.
