Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

Position Summary
Position: Main Line Technician
Classification: Full Time
Reports To: Service Manager
Work Locations: In person; Cadillac of The Woodlands
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevitySchedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle useRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobKeep logs on work/repairsMaintain equipment and tools in good conditionKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proven experience as auto technicianAt least 3+ years’ experience in Automotive RepairValid ASE Certification is preferredExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsCDK experience preferredAbility to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:
Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screeningMust have a valid driver’s license and be insurable based on driving record.Must have minimum of three years of driving historyMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be punctual and reliableMust be willing to work evening/night shifts from 4:00 pm to 12:00 amPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
