With the staff nurse's professional practice, you are responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and guest relations.  10 Tower - Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgical Acute Care29-bed cardiovascular and thoracic surgical acute care unit.The primary patient population consists of postoperative patients who have undergone the following procedures: Bentall; repair of aneurysms in the ascending and descending thoracic aorta, carotid endardectomies, femoral popliteal bypass, extrapleural pneumonectomy, esophagectomy, pneumonectomy, and amputations. Secondary patient populations include pre-surgical, postoperative cardiovascular aorto-coronary bypass, thoracotomies and medical cardiology or dysrhythmia patients.     Qualifications
    Qualifications:  Degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or universityBachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire. At least one (1) year of RN experience Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of NursingBasic Life Support (BLS)Overview
