Reports to the corresponding Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate industrial vehicles and equipment. Loads and unloads product from trucks. Transports materials to and from storage areas throughout warehouse.Floor stacks unitized materials in warehouse. EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience.
EXPERIENCE
Must be Certified in the operation of a forklift or able to pass a written certification test as well as demonstrate skillful use of forklift. Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.

Lead role in developing and maintaining site technical archives of site layouts and technical drawings, asset specs & warranties.Specifically, the position will:
Identify, cost out and evaluate supply project options to maximise financial opportunities, and recommend best overall business solutions that will drive operational effectiveness (total supply chain costs, not only factory costs) for continuous improvement encompassing technical areas of the P&LManage local CAB budgets & execute smaller CAB projects up to $500K. Work with Central engineers to plan & implement larger CAB investments for assets and facilities. Establish CAB priorities in conjunction with Site IE.Identify cost savings opportunities and projects to improve productivity and efficiency and implement automation to reduce labour content and waste. Drive site reliability, uptime and waste performance including maintenance expenses, supplies, MRO and OH’s.Drive timely implementation of identified opportunities, project-manage various projects & initiatives. Conduct after action and learning reviews for projects.Identify best practices for technical processes to maximise performance and embed in value streams by working with the Site IE and VSM’s.Coordinate annual site CAB planning and maintain projects files in line with site needs. Input to CAB project write-ups, conduct technical options and risk assessments. Ensure projects are delivered on time, cashflows managed and in budget against criteria such as IRR, NPV & FATR in project submission.Work with IE Director, VSM’s and Plant Mgr. to develop operational financial targets and standards for the factory (maintenance, utilities and suppliers costs)Develop Site Maintenance programs including electrical, mechanical and software/factory info systems. Ensure a proactive TPM maintenance system is implemented and maintained. Manage and maintain a Critical Event database to improve reliability of site and operations using KPI’s and information systems.Input into mfg. schedules for project downtimes and equipment PM’s.Principal Accountabilities
