Repairs and maintains, in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery, and mechanical equipment, such as, conveyor systems, and production equipment, by using hand, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.Troubleshoots equipment downtime and implements countermeasures to prevent recurrence.Trains operators and other mechanics on proper procedures as needed.Attends company scheduled training classes.Complies with company and OSHA safety rules and regulations.Other duties as assigned.Bearings, seals & lubricationMechanical drives, including belt, chain, gear, shafts, couplings, and shaft alignment.Mechanical timing of equipmentPneumatic systems in industrial applicationsReading equipment diagrams and schematicsPLC/Controls Troubleshooting, must have working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers. Experience: Formal training in the following: air conditioning, welding, machining, auto repair, electronics, or industrial mechanics. Additional years of experience may substitute for training. Must have at least 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional years of experience may substitute for training. Must have 5+ years’ experience in a high-speed packaging or similar, manufacturing environment.
