Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Vascular
Job Details:
• Weekend coverage needed ASAP with specific dates to be determined
• Hospital-based practice setting
• Night call required with a 50% call ratio
• Average of 10 cases per day
• Level 1 Trauma Center with 250K annual ER volume
• 2 operating rooms available with full complement of ancillary staff
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Hemodialysis access procedures required
• Required vascular surgery procedures include: aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal, peripheral), vascular access devices, and AV shunts
• Required endovascular surgery procedures include: carotid artery stenting, bypass surgery, aortofemoral bypass, stenting, endovascular and open surgical reconstruction for deep vein occlusions
• Treatment of lymphedema required
• Endovascular therapy required for peripheral artery disease and gangrene of the limbs
• On-call requirements: 8a-8a, including weekends
• Must be Board Certified/FACS
• Active Ohio license required (no exceptions)
• DEA required
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Must be available for listed dates

Physician - Surgery - General
Job Details:
• Weekend call position to help cover call volume, primarily ER call and inpatient work with possibility of some outpatient work
• Handle 5-10 patient encounters per shift
• Provide general surgery services for both adult and pediatric patients
• Trauma surgery experience required
• Perform laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• GI endoscopy skills required (upper and lower, including colonoscopy)
• Perform chest tube and central line insertions
• Minor orthopedics experience required
• Experience with head/neck surgery, chest wall/pleural procedures, and liver surgery preferred
• Nissen fundoplication and PA catheter placement skills preferred
• Laser certification preferred
• Must maintain active Texas medical license
• Board certification eligible minimum requirement
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 45 days
