    Opportunity : Occupational Health Physicians Assistant needed for PRN shifts in August

    Dates of coverage: August 11, 12, 14, 2025

    Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

    Staffing model consists of one Occ Health Tech; either LPN or Paramedic and one Mid-Level Provider.
    Currently needing coverage for the MLP to help treat injuries and illness. OHT will perform all the surveillance.

    They do respiratory fit testing, hearing and vision screens. They also conduct pre-employment drug screens and random drug screens. Treat work related injuries/illness as well as some acute and episodic incidents.

    Active MO license required

    2 days of training prior to clinic coverage needs. The parking lot is huge, with plenty of parking spaces. The clinic is located in the administrative building, not near labs, therefore there is no chemical smell within the clinic area.

    Job Details:
    • Full-time locum coverage needed for 5 days a week in both clinic and inpatient rounding
    • Typical hours are 8am-5pm, with flexibility for 7am-4pm if preferred
    • Start date as early as December 15, depending on privileging timeline
    • No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities
    • One hour unpaid lunch required
    • Clinic assistance primarily on Tuesdays and Fridays
    • Daily inpatient rounding and ER consults as needed
    • Management of in-basket tasks, patient calls, test results, and post-op concerns
    • Focus on GI Cancer Surgery - experience in this specialty is highly beneficial
    • Must be proficient in EPIC electronic medical record system
    • Provider must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Must have at least 25 case logs in the last two years
    • BLS certification required (ACLS preferred but not required)
    • Must be licensed in California
    • Average of 10-12 patient encounters per shift
    • Must be able to complete privileging documentation within 5 days of receipt
