  Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

  Job Description
  
  Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.Participate in and lead one on one and group activities.Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.Qualifications
  
  Experience working with seniors with dementia including participation in activities is preferred.Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.You have basic computer skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is required.You are compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful.You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.

  Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families.Answer telephone calls.You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity.Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns.You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested. Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes.You will assist other departments with administrative functions.Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.Qualifications
  
  Three (3) months of related experience is preferred.You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.You have highly proficient computer skills.   Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual.Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.Stock delivered food and non-food items.Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.    Attend all training and in-service seminars.Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.Qualifications
  
  Must be 18 years old or have a workers permit.High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous kitchen experience preferred. Must pass a state, federal background check and drug test.
