The General Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing medium-sized teams of 10-30 members, primarily working on commercial projects. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position ensures that all site activities meet safety regulations, quality standards, and scheduling requirements while fostering effective communication and problem-solving within the team.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate teams to ensure efficient time management of crewsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standardsManage project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlinesCommunicate effectively between crew members and managementIdentify and resolve operational challenges promptlyPrepare and submit regular reports on project progress and issuesTrain team members on safety, quality, and operational proceduresConduct thorough site inspections to monitor work quality and safety practicesLog pickup when necessary
