    Job Title: Scoop Operator

    The Opportunity:
    Barminco Mining Services. has an exciting opportunity for a Scoop/Mucker Operator to join our team at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating loading unit in an underground mine. Performing the assigned tasks while meeting safety standards, targets and deadlines to maximize productivity and profitability.

    Location: 65 Miles outside of Elko, Nevada
    Shift: 14-days on / 14-days off rotation

    Accommodation: Charter transportation from muster point. Camp and meals provided.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The HR Specialist is responsible for delivering consistent, on-the-ground human resources support at the mine site and ensuring the smooth execution of daily HR operations. This role serves as a key contact for site employees and supervisors, supporting activities within recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The position also contributes to regional HR initiatives and ensures alignment between site-level practices and broader organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project HR ResponsibilitiesCoordinate recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening applicants, and scheduling interviewsGenerate offer letters and facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and ensure accurate completion of required documentationAssist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general inquiriesSupport training coordination and tracking for site-based employeesMaintain employee records, update HRIS data, and ensure compliance with documentation standardsAddress employee questions and concerns, escalating as appropriate to the regional HR teamTrack attendance, assist with timekeeping and payroll data coordination when necessaryEnsure consistent application of HR policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and company requirementsRegional HR ResponsibilitiesParticipate in regional HR projects such as policy rollouts, compliance audits, and data reportingAssist with administrative tasks including tracking metrics, preparing reports, and maintaining documentationCollaborate with the broader HR team to ensure alignment and support across the regionMay be required to perform other duties as assigned by site, regional and functional leadership

    Job Title: Maintenance General Supervisor / Maintenance Foreman

    The Opportunity:
    Barminco Mining Services USA Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Foreperson to join our team at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent or designate, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient electrical services to our projects and clients. In providing this service, the role contributes to achieving Barminco’s purpose, principles and aspirations.

    Location: 65 Miles outside of Elko, Nevada
    Shift: 14-days on / 14-days off rotation

    Accommodation: Camp and meals provided. Travel allowance may be available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Support and develop the Electrical crews to be effective in their roles.Support the site leadership teams in the effective implementation of Barminco safety systems and initiatives to improve safety performance, as they pertain to the electrical function.Establish and maintain electrical licenses as required for all Barminco US operations.Develop and maintain electrical systems and procedures to ensure compliance with required US standards and legislation.Assist with development of tenders and regular cost review Work with technology team to adopt and implement new electrical technologyReview working areas of sites and ensure compliance with all relevant Acts and Regulations, Barminco’s and our clients policies, procedures, work instructions and standards.Ensure visual leadership interactions are undertaken.Support site electrical teams with planning.Liaise with site Project Management and Operations Managers for any non-compliance and/or safety issues relating to site electrical concerns.Provide coaching and mentoring to site team members.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 10 years as an Underground electrician with 5 years minimum in Supervisory roleSound knowledge of US standards relevant to underground mining electrical systemsSound knowledge of developing and maintaining electrical management systemsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.Journeyman Electrician license required.Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, power distribution, and underground mining equipment.First Aid qualifications.

    Work Conditions:

    Site-based role in an active underground mining environment with frequent exposure to mobile equipment, confined spaces, low light conditions, dust, diesel exhaust, and high noise levels.   Work performed in ventilation-controlled areas where air quality may vary depending on production activity and equipment operation.   Ability to walk and stand for extended periods on uneven, wet, muddy, or rocky surfaces throughout the shift.   Capacity to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work effectively within confined underground spaces.   Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier items lifted with mechanical assistance or team support.   Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination - Required  Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish colors, read markings, and operate safely in low-light conditions.   Auditory ability to hear alarms and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in high-noise environments while wearing required PPE.   Work performed on a rotational schedule with extended shifts (typically 12 hours) and compliance with site medical, respirator fit testing, drug and alcohol, and fitness-for-duty requirements.    Ability to do shift camp work on a rotational basis (Dayshift/Nightshift) minimum 12-hour days-Working statutory holidays as they fall within the rotation. - Required

    Job Title: Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic

    The Opportunity:
    Barminco Mining Services has an exciting opportunity for an Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman or designate, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical support and expertise to all areas of the underground and surface equipment in a safe and efficient manner to avoid injury to themselves or others, or damage to the equipment, other property or to the environment. Using technical and practical knowledge, this position will follow instruction, utilize shop and assembly manuals, and adhere to the health and safety standards.

    Location: 65 Miles outside of Elko, Nevada
    Shift: 14-days on / 14-days off rotation

    Accommodation: Camp-style living is provided, including a private room, three meals per day, and daily transportation between camp and site. Additionally, *travel assistance of up to $500 per rotation is available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Demonstrate commitment to following all Mine site safety rules, procedures and regulations, while ensuring the safety of othersTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mining equipment and ancillary equipment, including light vehicles as requiredEnsure projects are carried out in a timely, cost efficient and meticulous mannerPerform preventative maintenance inspections and services in accordance with the maintenance schedule and/or based on operational requirementsDocument reports detailing work performed, problems diagnosed, pre & post checks and all other required shift paperwork Maintain and demonstrate a professional and courteous relationship with employees, subcontractors, the client and all other personnel Practice good general housekeeping in the work area and equipmentMust possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License; manual transmission experience requiredPossess general computer skillsUnderstand and comply with all PPE requirements in work areasOther duties may be assigned by your Supervisor, as required

    Qualifications:

    Mechanical Certificate or Mechanical Degree (Required)2-5 years of experience working underground as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic (preferred)Underground MSHA (Required before day 1) The ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, cross-cultural environment with high degree of professionalism and self-motivation is essential Proven ability to recognize and follow verbal and written instructionsRead and understand manuals, schematics, diagrams and blueprintsAble to effectively prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are metMust have good radio etiquette and strong communications skillsEagerness to learn and growTypical equipment; Sandvik jumbo(s), scoop(s) and haul truck(s), Volvo/Cat front end loaders/telehandler & grader.
