BASIC FUNCTION
The purpose of this position is to manage the admissions process by maintaining waiting lists for occupancy, interacting with the discharge planners at local acute facilities, responding to requests from community for information regarding placement at the campus, providing support for the facility interdisciplinary team to best provide appropriate placement within our system at the level and payer group needed to be of service to the residents and resident families that we serve. This involves maintenance of support files and documentation, being knowledgeable of regulations regarding Medicare and Medicare and regulation in the state of Kentucky, interfacing with local and community persons in Human Services and other facilities to best serve our residents and resident families.

High school education required, 2-year degree in nursing, business or human services desired, 4-year degree in nursing, business or human services preferred.

This is a limited-duration (i.e., temporary) nurse aide training position leading to state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA). The maximum duration of this temporary training position is 120 days. Should the employee not attain state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) within 120 days, the temporary position with Baptist Life Communities will be terminated. Should that happen, the employee may apply for another open position for which he/she is qualified; however, there is no guarantee of continued employment if the employee does not attain certification within the 120 days allowed. The purpose of this position is to receive in-person, classroom, online, and book training to learn and perform the essential functions of a CNA/STNA in order to pass the required state CNA/STNA test and attain certification. Prior to and during the training, the employee will also provide delivery of care (other than direct care) as described on each individual resident’s Nurse Assistant care plan and as directed per Resident Assistant standards prior to completion of the nurse aide training class. This includes; but is not limited to, maintaining the resident’s room in a tidy, orderly condition with respect to the individual resident’s rights and preferences, serving resident meals and nourishments, collecting meal trays at end of meal, transporting residents within the facility, completing and documenting all tasks as directed on the individual resident’s care plan. Care plans may include such tasks as recording meal intake, BM records, intake and output, temperatures and weights, maintaining the required annual 12 continuing education hours, reporting unusual occurrences for each resident to the unit charge nurse and assisting with other tasks as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations that apply to a long term care setting. Has strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities. Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

About the Role:
If you are an experienced HVAC maintenance technician and a 'go-to' kind of person, Baptist Life Communities wants to talk with you about joining our maintenance team. We are looking for a Full Time (FT) HVAC person to partner with us in supporting our two Northern Kentucky senior Long Term Care (LTC) and independent-living communities. You're primary responsibility in this role will be to maintain our HVAC system; however, there are other general maintenance responsibilities as well. We have two locations in Northern Kentucky (Alexandria and Erlanger). This position will be based at our Erlanger location, but will support both communities' HVAC needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.EPA certification
