HVMC, a 505-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Kingsport, Tennessee, has more than 450 BC/BE physicians on staff and is recognized by the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association and the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. Support:
Physician will join 2 additional Hem/Onc Physicians and 3 APPs. The APPs manage infusion services and see acute & symptomatic patients and work under the direct supervision of the physician group. There is a large, diverse support staff of APPs, RNs, dietary, navigators, schedulers, pre-cert and financial team. Practice includes a full-service infusion room and a typical out-patient oncology practice. Pharmacy is managed by hospital-based team, which includes an oncology boarded pharmacist on staff. Support from specialists to include Rad Onc, Surgery, Pulm, GI, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, Radiology (including IR). There is also a strong primary care cohort with IM and FM residents training at JMH.
