Job Summary: This role serves as a key point of communication between the warehouse team and internal partners to optimize daily warehouse workflows including receiving, picking, packing, staging and shipping activities to ensure accurate inventory, on-time shipments and safe and efficient workflow execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Support labor planning by aligning work volume with staffing levels.Coordinate and assist in executing receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping activities to support daily distribution requirements.Coordinate and assist in the completion of production orders, kitting and returns processing.Monitor work queues, order status and dock activity to ensure efficient material flow.Communicate workflow priorities and adjustments to warehouse team members.Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, variance research and system transactions.Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to standard operating procedures.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided) as necessary.Follow all safety regulations including wearing proper safety equipment.Education and Experience:

Check in of parcels and freight including:
Hands/eyes on every item
Scanning paperwork to receivers
Quarantine of damaged and discrepancy items for Inventory Control
Removal of all previous shipping labels
Put away of received items
Cross docking of items with tickets to shipping
Repackage/secure back to stock items per direction of inventory control
Move/re-locate items as necessary in inventory system to maintain accuracy
Pick and package orders as requested according to instructions
Re-stocking and re-ordering of supplies for receiving area
Daily emptying of garbage and cardboard. General clean up and sweeping daily.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary assemble orders and load or unload freight

Promote power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products from Baldwin. Recommend products and services with the best combination of performance and cost based on customer requirementsIdentify target prospects and create strategic plans to turn prospects into customersBuild and sustain strong, long lasting customer relationshipsConstantly promote Baldwin’s value by providing best in class customer service and technical expertiseCoordinate with product specialists and inside sales team to efficiently manage current business and secure new businessMaintain professional working relationships with strategic suppliers to BaldwinParticipate in company-sponsored sales and technical training sessionsThe ideal candidate possesses:
