    Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead / Maintenance Lead


    Location: Sacramento, CA
    Job Type: Full-Time
    Pay: $75,000 – $98,000 annually (DOE)
    Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday (4x10 Schedule)


    Day Shift: 5:30 AM startSwing Shift: 1:30 PM start

    On-Call: Required for emergency situations


    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and performance goals are met, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production.


    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and supervise maintenance team members on assigned shiftPromote and enforce a strong safety culture across all operationsEnsure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirementsAssign daily work, distribute work orders, and manage maintenance schedulesReview and ensure completion of all maintenance, repair, and modification work ordersCoordinate with Maintenance Planner to prioritize and reschedule work as neededAct as the primary point of contact for emergency maintenance issuesCommunicate critical updates, project timelines, and costs to the Maintenance ManagerCoordinate maintenance activities with operations and external contractorsEnsure smooth shift transitions by communicating ongoing and completed workSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failuresMonitor inventory and recommend improvements or replacement of obsolete parts


    Qualifications

    Required:

    Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or related field

    OR 6+ years of electrical or mechanical maintenance experience

    Minimum 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systemsExperience leading teams or supervising maintenance personnelAbility to prioritize tasks and work under pressure


    Preferred:

    Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) toolsExperience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments

    About the Role

    Balance Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented PMC-OM Clerk to support production, materials, and shipping operations in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in keeping production schedules on track, monitoring inventory, and ensuring products are built and shipped on time.

    You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and Mexico to help maintain smooth production flow and accurate order management.


    Key Responsibilities

    Track daily production schedules and customer orders from start to finishMonitor work-in-progress (WIP) and provide updates to the teamAssist with production meetings and follow up on action itemsUpdate and manage orders in SAPTrack materials to ensure production readinessSupport inventory counts and resolve discrepanciesCreate shipping documentation for finished goods and materialsAssist shipping team and troubleshoot system issues with ITProvide administrative support to supervisors and managersHelp train new employees and support special projectsFollow and support all safety and quality standards


    Qualifications

    0–1 year of experience in production, materials, or order managementOrganized, detail-oriented, and strong communication skillsComfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)SAP experience preferred (or willingness to learn)Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing prioritiesTeam-oriented and willing to support coordination and training


    Preferred

    Experience working with production, inventory, or shipping reportsBilingual in English and Spanish


    Education

    High school diploma requiredTechnical degree or equivalent experience preferred


    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    Standing and walking up to 4–6 hours per shiftFrequent typing, data entry, and document handlingOccasional travel to Juárez, Mexico may be requiredOvertime based on business needs

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Printer / Anodizer / Maintenance Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain digital printing and anodizing equipment, manage production flow, and ensure quality standards are met. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for skill growth and advancement.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Setup, monitor, and operate digital printing and finishing systems.Operate anodizing line and perform daily shutdown procedures.Review job tickets, proofs, and customer samples; prepare press-ready files.Monitor print and product quality, track ink and material usage.Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with basic 2nd shift maintenance tasks.Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.


    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience with machine operation, color management, or production processes.Strong math, measuring, and detail-oriented skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks requiring dexterity.Basic computer skills: familiarity with Illustrator, RIP, or CAD software preferred.


    Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

    Ability to stand for long periods, work around machinery, and in a noisy environment.Must use protective equipment as needed and work safely in a manufacturing setting.
