    We are seeking a driven and accomplished litigation attorney. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and is passionate about advocating for clients. This attorney will manage cases from intake through trial, take ownership of their caseload, and work collaboratively with our team to maximize results. Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills are essential, along with a relentless work ethic and a commitment to achieving justice for clients.


    Compensation: Highly competitive salary + bonus


    Responsibilities:Manage a full caseload from initial investigation through verdict or settlementHandle all aspects of litigation: depositions, discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, and trialsDevelop case strategies and prepare compelling arguments for trialCommunicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team membersParticipate in firmwide strategy meetings, case reviews, and mentorship opportunities
    Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in Florida and in good standingMinimum 3 years of civil litigation experienceExceptional written and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage cases independently and work effectively in a team environmentDeep knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and EvidencePassion for representing injured individuals and delivering justice

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    You'll support two attorneys through discovery, mediation, and trial preparation on plaintiffs' personal injury matters. Within 90 days, you'll independently manage active litigation files, coordinate discovery deadlines, and prepare attorneys for hearings and mediations. This position is primarily based in our Jacksonville office with a hybrid schedule available after successful onboarding and training. We value collaboration and teamwork while also providing flexibility for experienced professionals. Specific in-office and remote work expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

    Compensation:

    $65,000 - $85,000 DOE with high bonus potential


    Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and post-trial activities.Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case strategies, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.File and manage legal documents in court and ensure compliance with all procedural deadlines and requirements.Coordinate with clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses to obtain necessary information and documentation.Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other case-related documents.Assist in the preparation of discovery responses and manage the discovery process, including organizing and reviewing evidence.Prepare case files and exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trials.Maintain and update case management systems with case details, deadlines, and correspondence.Communicate with clients to provide updates on case status, schedule appointments, and address any questions or concerns.Support attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing trial exhibits and preparing trial notebooks.
    Qualifications:Proven experience as a paralegal.Experience drafting legal documents and pleadings.Knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling case-related documents and information.Proficiency in using case management software, legal research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgmentAbility to work under pressure/deadlines and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; self-motivatedOutstanding time-management and typing skills
