Full Time - Medical Assistant
BAART Programs is looking for an organized and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments and collect personal information from patients. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping practitioners with treatment and collecting lab samples.
To be successful as a Medical Assistant you must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. An ideal candidate also demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder.
Responsibilities:
Schedules intake appointments, records and verifies patients' information and prepares medical records on new and returning patients Check in patients, escort patients to and from waiting room, interviews patients and measures vital signs, records information into patients' electronic charts Assist Medical Director/Program Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes and as needed Obtains blood specimens and collects nonblood specimens such as urine sputum, for laboratory testingPrepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and disinfects treatment rooms, equipment and supplies using germicidesActs as receptionist, performs secretarial duties and prepares and maintains reports and recordsTriage/manage questions, phone contacts, and fax messages File lab results into appropriate binders and distribute lab results to counselorsAttend weekly staff meetings and in-service trainingsOther duties as assignedQualifications:

BAART Programs is looking for a compassionate and customer service oriented Pharmacy technician to work along with the pharmacist to provide medication and other health care products to patients. Technicians usually perform routine tasks to help prepare prescribed medication, such as counting tablets and labeling bottles.

BAART Program is looking for a Community Liaison who will promote our opioid treatment programs in the St. Albans region by promoting and marketing their services through relationship building with existing and potential referral sources, identifying new referral partners, identifying market opportunities, and raising brand awareness within the designated service area. This position will support five area centers including a 24/7.
Responsibilities:
Provides community education on opioid use disorder and conveys benefits of our treatment services to influencers and referral sources within the service area. Builds and cultivates relationships within given referral source categories with decision makers, influencers and others to build a strong referral program. Develops and implements marketing and referral development plans to identify referral opportunities and increase program utilization. Utilizes all available contact methodologies to achieve maximum reach: individual and personalized contacts, telephone contacts, significant email contact, mailings, etc. with the ultimate goal of developing trust and cultivating long term referral relationships. Schedule and complete individual, in person meetings with decision makers and influencers to understand needs, identify and resolve barriers to establishing successful partnerships and referral relationships.
