FULL-TIME/TEMPORARY (POSSIBILITY FOR PERMANENT)
JOB FUNCTION: As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for assembly of mechanical pieces and being an integral part of our Production line. You will be responsible for functions that include using hand and power tools, follow detailed assembly instructions, and contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties my include assisting team members in ad-hoc projects such as assembling tables, transferring heavy material to different locations, and providing support for other manufacturing departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment
LANGUAGE: English proficiency is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Great verbal and written communication skillsRead and understand work orders and manufacturing work instructionsAccuracy for documentationEffectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesCommon sense to solve practical problemsKnowledge of PCBA and IPC-A-610Attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble unitsFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and proceduresInspection cosmetic chassis defect before installing PCBAMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25-30 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
