Qualifications for Housekeeper/Laundry Aide:
· Previous nursing home experience preferred.
· High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred when applicable.
· Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.

Position Overview
As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop customized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall function. You’ll work closely with an experienced interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure the highest level of care for each resident.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate residents’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
Monitor and document patient progress; update care plans in collaboration with the IDT
Educate residents, caregivers, and families on exercises, safety, and mobility strategies
Complete accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory requirements
Attend team meetings and participate in interdisciplinary coordination
Adhere to all safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
Good standing with all applicable boards and agencies
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred
Experience with Net Health documentation system is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations
