    As a dedicated local driver, you'll benefit from consistent customers and predictable routes. With a clear understanding of your weekly miles, you'll always know what to expect in your paycheck. And since you'll be familiar with your customers and their typical freight loads, you won't face any surprises or delays.

    Competitive Pay

    Average $1,250 a week / $65,000 yearly Starting pay: $0.50 cpm Annual pay increase on your contract anniversary Average miles per week: 1,500 Stop pay: $15 per stop (average 30 stops per week, each stop averaging 30 minutes) Additional pay: Detention and breakdown pay available if necessary

    Great Schedule - NO WEEKENDS!

    Home daily Monday to Friday workweek with no weekend work Average workday: 10-12 hours Start time: between 2:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. (base on dispatch and first stop location) Finish time: between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Dispatch sent daily around 5:00 p.m. for the next day's load Loads ready by 2:00 a.m. daily Must arrive at first stop by 7:30-8:00 a.m.

    Frequent and Predictable Routes

    Deliver within a 300-mile radius from Greensboro, NC. Haul building materials such as drywall, lumber, etc., to both retail and non-retail locations (some palletized) Routes may have 1-12 stops per day depending on distance Some days include picking up inbound product

    Equipment and Load Types

    Pulling 53' trailers: Flatbed, Curtain side, or Conestoga Pre-loaded trailers - start your day with trailers ready to go No touch freight: only live unloads Strapping required for each load (straps provided) Tarping only in inclement weather or when rain is in the forecast and product cannot get wet (additional $10 per stop if required)

    Equipment and Safety

    Hard hats and vests provided (must always be worn when out of the truck on property) Steel toe shoes required (driver will need to purchase)
