DutiesAdminister anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures while monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments.Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including patient history reviews and physical examinations.Manage post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) protocols, ensuring patients recover safely from anesthesia.Provide acute pain management solutions for patients post-surgery.Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively for documentation and patient tracking.Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance anesthetic practices and patient care standards.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.Board certification in Anesthesiology is preferred.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to anesthetic practices.Experience with EHR systems such as Epic is highly desirable.Proficiency in airway management techniques and critical care experience is essential.Familiarity with various medical imaging modalities and interventional radiology practices is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in anesthesiology.
