The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering excellent on-site service and installation support for corporate, educational, and event audiovisual systems. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, service troubleshooting, repairing integrated AV systems, providing installation support as needed, and collaborating within a small technical team to ensure quality AV solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site and preventative maintenance service calls for audiovisual systems.Troubleshoot and repair complex audio, video, and control systems including LCD/DLP/CRT projectors and AV switchers.Support installation and modification of integrated AV systems in collaboration with sales and project teams.Communicate technical information and system capabilities to clients and staff at various levels.Coordinate product returns and exchanges through the service coordinator.Prepare and submit documentation such as labor/material reports, maintenance logs, and time sheets timely and accurately.Offer technical phone support to customers and internal staff as needed.Help develop and promote our company's presence as a leading AV service provider.Perform additional duties as directed by management.Required Qualifications
