    Job Description Summary:
    To perform various warehouse operations activities including receiving, storage, delivery, and maintenance of supplies, materials, equipment, and surplus and salvage property.

    Job Description:

    Description of Duties and Tasks ​
    Delivers freight, supplies, interdepartmental mail, and other materials to campuses and other sites.
    Stocks and pulls warehouse inventory; processes incoming departmental requests and paperwork.
    Performs physical inventories of the warehouse; enters relevant database information; updates the Fixed Asset system.
    Picks up and stores surplus, salvage, and temporarily stored property.
    Processes mail including sorting, redistributing, and applying postage.
    Assist with the surplus auctions' process.
    Maintains, logs, and assures safety the of warehouse, vehicles, forklift, and other equipment.
    Process United States Postal Service (USPS) bulk mail, 1st class resort, certified express mail, international mail, customs report; utilizes and maintains postage machine: maintains certified logs for post office.
    Receives check and verifies informing warehouse shipments including visually inspecting packages, signing for or refusing deliveries.
    Delivers and picks up equipment and items at various campus locations and departments throughout ACC, as required, and loads and unloads trucks.

    Receiving, unloading, inspecting, and processing deliveries.
    Stocking and pulling inventory.
    Processing mail while adhering to postal regulations and procedures.
    Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
    Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
    Preparing or processing purchase orders.
    Accountable for inventory/property management.


    Technology Skills ​
    Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.


    Required Work Experience ​
    One-year related work experience.


    Required Education ​
    High school diploma or educational equivalent.


    Special Requirements ​
    Valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record for driving ACC vehicle.


    Physical Requirements ​
    Work is performed in a variety of settings.
    Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and at times subject to stooping, crawling, and climbing.
    May need to lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.


    Salary Range (PG 112)
