    Full-Time Clinician


    Reports To: Clinical Director and Executive Director

    Position Overview

    Auburn Youth and Family Services (AYFS) is seeking a full-time Master’s level clinician (or higher) to provide counseling services to youth, adolescents, families, and adults in both school based and agency settings. The clinician will deliver individual counseling, provide support to families, collaborate with schools and community partners, and participate in supervision and team consultation.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse youth and family populations, demonstrate strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and be committed to providing supportive, community-based behavioral health services.

    Auburn Youth and Family Services (AYFS) is a private nonprofit agency dedicated to supporting families through empowerment, advocacy, and community collaboration. Founded in 1976, AYFS works to identify the evolving needs of the Auburn community and provide high-quality services through programs that include counseling, education, recreation, consultation, advocacy, and information.


    Qualifications

    Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.Licensure preferred (LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent) or actively working toward licensure.Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school, community, or clinical settings.Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team.Openness to supervision, learning, and professional development.U.S. work authorization required.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Provide individual counseling and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, adults, and families.Provide school-based counseling services at the Auburn Public School System.Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress.Coordinate care and referrals as part of ongoing case management and service planning.Complete clinical documentation and progress notes within established agency timelines.Maintain client records in accordance with ethical, professional, and agency standards.Adhere to all AYFS policies and procedures.Participate in weekly clinical supervision.Collaborate with agency staff and community partners to support client care.Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

    Hours

    Full-Time: 40 hours per week

    Schedule: Monday – Friday


    Salary: Rate ranges from $62,000 to $70,000 based on education, license, and experience.
