    Centurion, an Atwell Company, is seeking a Senior Field Test Technician to lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities across a wide range of electrical equipment and systems including substations and datacenters. The work location will be in either Arizona, Ohio or Idaho depending on your location. Our technicians typically will work four to five weeks on with a week off.

    Typical duties include, but are not limited to, performance and management of routine and moderately complex tasks and projects, record keeping, evaluation of test data, and responsibility for the safety of others. Individual is qualified to provide guidance and can perform electrical testing on a comprehensive list of electrical components and systems. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency regarding the essential functions of the job listed below.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Provide training and mentorship of entry to mid-level employees to complete testing on basic/advanced electrical devices and elementary systems.Perform visual / mechanical inspections and electrical testing on basic and more advanced electrical devices and circuits, including:Standard equipmentMeter calibrationsElectromechanical and solid-state protective relaysPower quality and load monitoringAssist Project Managers in scheduling, budgeting and billing of projects accurately and timely.Fully understand the contractual scope and submit Change Order Requests for work beyond given scopeOversee upkeep and maintenance to electrical test equipment.Provide direction for staging test equipment and materials for project execution.Communicate issues and test failures to the client and provide remediation for corrective action.Review final test reports and compiled project datasheets for client submittal.Direct morning safety meetings and provide input on job hazard analysis and risk mitigation efforts.Provide mentoring and training in formal environments and OJT to junior personnel.

    What You Bring

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong documentation discipline.NETA certification is highly preferred. Clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams.Ability to work independently in the field while coaching others.

    Job Description

    As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development!

    Site Plan Excellence: You'll be responsible for drafting preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.Data Analysis: Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering various factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations crucial for project direction. This may include hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading.Construction Support: Offer valuable construction-related services, such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals. Organize site plans, construction plans, and construction documents under the guidance of Senior staff.Engineering Software Mastery: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring they align with established standards.Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with current staff members, ensuring seamless project coordination.

    Atwell is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in residential and commercial land development to lead high impact projects across diverse markets.     What You'll Do:

    Lead full cycle project delivery from proposal to closeout in residential and commercial land development

    Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and leadership to ensure success, profitability, and technical excellence

    Oversee project budgets, proposals, contracts, scopes, and schedules

    Mentor and direct project teams; promote internal communication and knowledge sharing

    Maintain strong client relationships and represent Atwell in all external communications

    Tackle complex engineering and permitting challenges with the autonomy to influence project direction and outcomes

    What You Bring:

    Professional Engineer (PE) license required

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

    4 plus years of experience in residential and/or commercial land development

    Deep understanding of local development codes, permitting processes, and construction practices

    Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and client expectations

    Responsibilities:

    Serve as a resource for design staff as it pertains to drafting practices and procedures.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments on time and within Atwell standards.Produce various drawings specific to projects including soil erosion plans, site layout, grading, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer plans, construction layout, and construction staking.Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities, and clients as directed.Communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders on workflow status in order to meet chargeability goals.

    As a Project Manager for Atwell's Civil Engineering group, you'll dive into diverse residential land development projects of varying sizes and complexities. This is your chance to shape your career in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Collaboration: You'll collaborate closely with the production team, assisting them in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and construction documents for residential communities and subdivisions.Mentorship and Guidance: Take on a leadership role by guiding and assisting junior staff. Ensure that project-based tasks are executed accurately and efficiently, nurturing the talents of the next generation.Technical Guru: Utilize your engineering prowess to prepare a wide range of reports, opinions, and recommendations.     Responsibilities:

    Serve as a resource for design staff as it pertains to drafting practices and procedures.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments on time and within Atwell standards.Produce various drawings specific to projects including soil erosion plans, site layout, grading, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer plans, construction layout, and construction staking.Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities, and clients as directed.Communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders on workflow status in order to meet chargeability goals.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma Required6+ years of previous design experience within Residential, Commercial or Industrial Land Development RequiredAutoCAD Civil 3D

    As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development!

    Site Plan Excellence: You'll be responsible for drafting preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.Data Analysis: Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering various factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations crucial for project direction. This may include hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading.Construction Support: Offer valuable construction-related services, such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals. Organize site plans, construction plans, and construction documents under the guidance of Senior staff.Engineering Software: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring they align with established standards.Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with current staff members, ensuring seamless project coordination.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering2+ years of experienceAutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred
