    Position Highlights:


    * Our Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians may work a 1.0 FTE, call, on average, no more than 24hrs/week, usually 12hr shifts unless physician would prefer otherwise.
    * Flexibility in workload, able to decrease to 0.8 FTE.
    * Collaborative teamwork with certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners.
    * Outstanding clinical practice supports with focus on decreasing physician burnout.
    * On-site laboratory, radiologic and pharmacy services.
    * On-site or regional Fertility, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and other women's health sub-specialty services.
    * Clinical practices located in Boston and surrounding metropolitan area.

    BC/ BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology

    Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts

    Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,848 - $555,132. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.     The Department of Weight & Lifestyle Medicine at Atrius Health is looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) physician who is ABOM-certified to join our growing team. We are a collaborative, innovative group of clinicians, passionate about helping patients achieve healthier lives through evidence-based obesity and lifestyle medicine.     Primary Responsibilities:

    Provide direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and related conditions

    Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapies

    Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioner, dietitians, and partnerships with psychologists and surgeons

    Provide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week

    Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities

    Stay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric care

    As the Cardiologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialize care. You'll work as part of a team-based model where primary and specialty care providers join with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and growing population.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions

    Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments and testing such as lab sessions & testing include echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, cardiac device clinic

    Collaborates with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care. Maintaining continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agencies

    Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists to consults with providers on issues related to patient care

    Teaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs. Serves as an educator in areas of specialization

    Participates in the development of health education programs

    Required Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine

    Board Certified or Bord Certified Eligible in Cardiology

    Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations

    Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations

    American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
