    Responsibilities

    Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition. Washes, cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment used to operate the kitchen and dining room areas. Cleans floors, equipment and other areas as assigned.

    Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.Assist with the preparation and execution of the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels.Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.     Responsibilities

    The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.

    Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.Perform all housekeeping duties including:Distributing laundered articles and linensChanging bedsCleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as neededSweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperiesDusting furniture and equipmentPolishing metalworkWashing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sillsPerforms all laundry duties, including:Washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliancesFolding and/or hanging laundry appropriatelyDistributing laundered articles and linensChanging bed linens.Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested. Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.     Responsibilities

    In the role of Executive Chef, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations and staffing for the kitchen and dining venue in the community. You drive a culture of hospitality and ensure that residents’ tastes are indulged and their suggestions implemented. You act as a manager on duty as required.

    Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and performance managing assigned staff. This includes scheduling of hours, breaks, and meal periods.Maintain monthly and annual budgets for the Culinary Services department, including producing written documentation of monthly spend on food, supplies, and labor.Maintain the appropriate inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and table ware.Responsible for ensuring that purchasing standards are maintained and that appropriate vendors are used at all times. Maintain strong and positive relationships with all vendors.Ensure that all food is prepared, stored, and served according to Company standards and legal requirements.Meet regularly with residents and family members to confirm that high satisfaction levels are maintained.Work with staff to ensure that they have a clear understanding of how to provide high levels of customer service.Confirm that the front of house and back of house staff work closely together to deliver a food product that exceeds the resident’s and/or other guests’ expectations.Work with community leadership and front-line staff to obtain and maintain department customer satisfaction and department of health survey levels at or above designated scores.Maintain timely and accurate documentation and submission of reports and invoices regarding budget and other responsibilities as required by the community and the Company.Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores at or above the Company standard.Delegate tasks to all staff so that the kitchen and dining areas are maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and quality at all times.Conduct and participate in department meetings, in-services, and pre-meal stand ups.Ensure that all staff use and maintain equipment properly to avoid injury, damage, and costly repairs.Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of Engage Life events, special events, banquets, and theme meals.Work closely with the Community Sales team and community staff to market the community.Ensure that the kitchen and restaurant staff understand Company expectations and first impression requirements.Act as a manager on duty as required.May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

    Qualifications
