Qualifications
Preferred by not required: 5+ years of hands on experience related to one of these systems: web crawler, link graph mining, web data ingress system, scheduler system.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.12+ years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on distributed systems and large-scale storage solutions.Proficiency in system design, performance optimization, and cost-efficient architecture for exabyte-scale storage.Expertise in at least one major backend programming language (Kotlin, Java, Go, Rust, or Python).Experience leading technical strategy and architectural decisions in large, multi-team engineering organizations.Strong understanding of distributed systems principles, including consistency models, replication, sharding, and consensus algorithmsExperience mentoring senior engineers and driving high-impact engineering initiatives.

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $239,000 - $318,600
Zone B: $215,100 - $286,700
Zone C: $198,300 - $264,400

Atlassian is looking for a world-class Senior Product Marketer to lead product launches and overlay Sales team and Partner enablement efforts for Bitbucket, our source code management and CI/CD solution. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to understand our Sales and Partner motions, working closely with both teams as well as our Product team. You will create the strategy, messaging, and content needed to accelerate pipeline and help drive revenue. This role is ideal for a Product Marketer skilled at crafting compelling marketing narratives, content, and go-to-market strategies looking to drive measurable impact! You’ll report to the Head of Product Marketing, Bitbucket.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Stay on top of customer, market, and competitive research to shape messaging, campaigns, sales enablement, and influence our product strategy.Execute product launches to take our latest innovations to market.Develop and refine differentiated positioning, use cases, pitch decks, and demos to be used by Sales and Partners.Drive PMM participation in Sales and Partner programs, plays, and other pipeline-generating activities.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives, including accelerating pipeline and increasing win rates, product attach rate, adoption, and customer retention.Increase sales success by providing direct deal support through tactics such as account strategy, deal win stories, objection handling, and product positioning.
Qualifications
More about you:
5-7 years of experience in enterprise Product Marketing and/or related marketing or sales roles in B2B SaaS.Understand the software development lifecycle, the challenges developers face, and the tools they use to do their jobs.Expert on high-touch enterprise marketing motions and buyer personas.Strong storyteller, writer, and communicator with an eye for good design who can succinctly simplify complex ideas into simple, compelling messages for different audiences.Structured thinker with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Cross-functional collaborator who builds relationships with senior stakeholders across from Sales, Partners, Marketing, and Product to deliver on a shared vision and goals.Ability to spot opportunities and translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, campaigns, and sales plays to help us meet business objectives.Self-starter with a positive attitude who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

Your future team
You will be part of a world-class Data Science team that leverages data to drive insights about our products and customers. The Data Science team partners closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Researchers, Data Engineers, Markets and the Executive team across Atlassian to drive and influence outcomes.
The team is responsible for using a variety of analysis and data-science techniques to understand how Atlassian's customers engage with our AI products, identify gaps and opportunities, and measure the success of our product investments.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Identify key business challenges and develop strategic initiatives for your cross-functional business partners, be a trusted strategic partner, and build credibility.Influence Atlassian Intelligence product strategy and roadmaps, and drive impactful change through the structure and clarity of your analysis and recommendations.Lead and prioritize multiple workstreams and/or large complex data science programs. In collaboration with your data science team and your business partners, you will be making informed decisions about priorities, timing, and resourcing.Drive best practice techniques for communicating complex, unfamiliar, challenging, and/or difficult information, including the development and use of frameworks and conceptual models.Lead the evolution of data assets in your team. Coordinate with and influence other data science and engineering teams working on Atlassian Intelligence to ensure alignment of metrics, measurement, and analysis methodologies.Leverage broader industry knowledge to establish frameworks to measure customer engagement with and quality of Atlassian intelligence features.Actively share your work and knowledge to benefit work done across data science.Proactively enable your data science team to address business needs and navigate change and ambiguity.Use your experience and expertise to identify, solve, and bridge gaps/problems across data science and drive programs of work impacting organizational processes that scale Atlassian.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications / Your background:
Proven track record of driving projects or programs that have had a significant impact on business strategy and performance.Excels at advising, presenting to and serving as a thought partner to senior executives10+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields.Expertise in SQL and another data manipulation programming language (e.g., Python, R).Proficiency in at least one visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, R-Shiny, Looker).Expertise in applying a broad variety of statistical concepts (e.g. regressions, A/B tests, clustering, probability) to business problems and a strong sense of when to adapt/combine approaches to suit the problem at hand.Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
Desirable Qualifications
12+ Years of Experience in Data Science or related fieldsUnderstanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics.Experience in developing insights for Chat, Search, or LLM-based products.Championing the adoption of industry standards in a functional area of Data Science.

Unlocking instant access to relevant enterprise knowledge that is integrated across all fragmented sources, unlocks decision making, understanding and actions for humans and agents alike. Our mission on the Search Serving Platform team is to drive this transformation by delivering low-latency, highly-relevant, and reliable search experience for all Atlassian users across all surfaces by powering scalable runtime systems, query orchestration, and robust serving infrastructure. We're looking for an experienced Engineering Leader to lead our growing Search Serving Platform organization. You will bring a wealth of experience in managing teams globally, deep expertise in search systems and success in delivering highly technical multi-quarter roadmaps on the journey to building the world’s most transformative enterprise search experience. You will also need to be comfortable with ambiguity and possess tools to work through ambiguity, craft strategy and drive execution. You will be able to inspire your teams, distributed across geographies, and guide them to world-class engineering and operational standards while helping define and drive our long term technical strategy for cutting edge search.

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience12+ years of experience developinglarge scale distributed systems.8+ years of experience managing software development teams driving large projects with complex dependencies and multiple stakeholders.2+ years of experience leading teams running search systems at scale.

Excellent communication skills and a track record of cross-group/cross-discipline collaboration.Experience managing managers and a track record of scaling global organizations with 50+ engineers. Experience working with and leading teams across geographies.You will demonstrate defining and communicating a long-term technical vision and inspiring your team around a shared vision for success. Zone B: $215,100 - $286,700

We are looking for a Principle ML engineer to join the Teamwork Graph team and a group of talented engineers who are responsible for helping build and deploy the knowledge graph of how teams work together. The graph is the foundational data layer Teamwork Graph logically representing all of a customer’s data, with edges/relationships to connect entities across feature and product boundaries. The Graph powers various new AI products such as Rovo, as well as enables Atlassian products to work better together. Checkout this clip from the recent founder keynote for more details. You will work closely with the team to execute the strategy for advanced graph querying and powering a suite of Graph + AI powered applications and experiences. You will also collaborate with the federated product teams and other central orgs to integrate the Teamwork knowledge deeply in various products such as Search, Jira, Confluence, and many upcoming ones.

What You'll Do:
Drive large, complex projects autonomously, from technical design to launch.
Tackle complex architectural challenges, apply architectural standards, and start using them on new projects.
Lead code reviews & documentation as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems.

Developing platform capabilities to power customer-facing solutions/experiences such as migration assistants, App Migrations, and Routine Admin tasks (sandbox data clone, cloud-to-cloud data transformation, backup-restore).
Implementing compliance initiatives across platform and product stacks ranging from cloud infrastructure to product experiences.
Collaborating with Core Engineering, products, and platform teams on a large scale and high-reliability transformative architecture, including Kafka & Kafka Stream adoption.
Ensuring the adoption of world-class engineering and operational practices across teams.
Working across cloud platforms and infrastructure services to provide a great developer experience for both in-house developers and 2P app developers.
Partnering across the Enterprise group and various Platform teams to deliver key architecture outcomes for strategic programs.
Acting as a change agent in bringing in industry standards to boost velocity and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience in building cloud SaaS platforms in a dynamic environment.
Strong experience in Java, microservices, and relational databases.
Passionate about collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
Experience in AWS and streaming technologies such as Kafka; streaming experience would be a plus.
Passion for engineering and operational excellence.
Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS industries with hands-on experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Fluency in any one database technology (e.g., RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra).
Experience crafting and implementing well-tested, highly scalable, and performant microservices and/or other distributed systems.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Set comprehensive GTM strategies that distill complex processes and sets of information into clear written communications that include customer segmentation, messaging, and internal enablement across a mix of channelsAble to pivot quickly and manage multiple complex programs concurrently.Apply your strong customer-centric focus to all content and programsPartner with sales leadership and enablement to craft enablement programsCreate high-quality assets for use by demand gen, sales, and partners. This can take the form of blogs, webinars, leadership, analyst reports, community posts, pitch decks and moreStrong stakeholder management and ability to navigate complex conversationsBuild strong relationships with your Product counterparts and engage in sparring and strategic roadmap discussionsBe able to spot opportunities to improve, and have a keen understanding of how to translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, and campaigns to help us meet our business goals
Qualifications
Your background:
5+ years of B2B PMM experience, ideally with a DevOps and cloud infrastructure or Service Management backgroundExperience with creating, driving, and managing go-to-market plans across a variety of owned channelsPassionate, self-starter with a no-bullshit, can-do attitudeYou're eager to jump in to get things done and don't get flustered in a fast-paced and often changing environment
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700
