The primary function of the Business Development Manager is to target a specific list of accounts to develop into Major Accounts in the Minneapolis Metropolitan Area.

Your New Role:
Consult with existing and potential customers to assess and understand the applications of material handling equipment & systems.Target large scale users of material handling equipment.Research & identify emerging accounts.Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.Assist with research and development of partnerships with vendors.Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, complete sales, and arrange deliveries.Research, develop and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.Help customers who have problems with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded materials and machinery.Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.Identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management. A valid driver's license5+ years of experience in the material handling industry10+ years of sales experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to salesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareBachelor's degree in a Business or Engineering fieldMaster's degree preferredPrior leadership experience is highly valuedA proven track record of successful material handling equipment salesWhat You'll Love About Us:
