    We are seeking a dynamic clinical leader to driving excellence in our clinic. This role ensures best practices in patient care, develops clinical teams through training and continuing education, and helps implement innovative services that keep our practices at the forefront of care.


    Key responsibilities include:

    Measuring performance against established metrics and holding teams accountable for results - solid patient care and workflowConducting clinic audits to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and optimize patient outcomesLeading team meetings, CPR training, and continuing education eventsOverseeing training, competency testing, and development programs for field techniciansSupporting the rollout of new technologies, services, and equipment maintenance programsProviding leadership in troubleshooting issues, resolving staff disputes, and supporting practice leadership
    Requirements:

    What You Bring

    Five to 10 years of experience in ophthalmic practices. A minimum of three years of administrative and managerial experience, increasing in complexity, including the supervision of clinical professionals (Preferred).Bachelors in related field or nursing degree preferred.Certified ophthalmic medical technologist or licensed optometrist with appropriate experience considered.Strong leadership and business operations experience requiredDependable transportation required to travel to other offices as requiredMust be flexible with traveling to various locations.Ability to pay attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityCustomer and patient service orientation: prompt response to patient needs and ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations with tact, empathy and diplomacyDisplays positive outlook and pleasant manner, does not instigate or participate in office gossip or negativity, keeps commitmentsDresses appropriately and is well groomedAbility to work cooperatively in group situations; offers assistance and support to coworkers, actively resolves conflicts, inspires trust of others, and treats patients and coworkers with respectAbility to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including the ability to use power hand tools and lift a minimum of 70 lbs.Excellent verbal communication skillsWillingness to submit to a background check (drug screen for Ambulatory Surgery Centers only)

The Registered Nurse is directed by the Charge Nurse.

    What You’ll Do

    Assesses patient status on admission to the preop area, the operating room and/or the post-op area, and on a continuing basis.Provides safe, therapeutic quality care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and nursing diagnosis in a timely manner and by setting appropriate priorities. Coordinates nursinginterventions to enhance achievement of expected outcomes and to ensure readiness fordischarge. Documents interventions and patient’s responses.Ensures provision of patient care in an organized and timely manner.Utilizes nursing care standards when planning and implementing patient care.Communicates appropriate information regarding patient conditions to those who require theInformation including, surgeons, anesthesia, management and other staff.Safely carries out physician’s orders correctly and promptly, documenting all activities.Initiates and participates in patient and family education. Assesses learning needs according topatient’s level of understanding and readiness to learn.Displays an understanding of each patient’s cognitive, physical, emotional and chronologicalmaturity in assessments, treatment, and care.Takes part in pre- and post-op phone calls and communicates any problems to the appropriateperson.Maintains competencies to function in RN role within specific area.     · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
