    Atlantic Pacific Standard 

    Title: Cement Layer / Concrete Finisher

    Location: Southern Arizona 

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cement Layer / Concrete Finisher to join our construction team delivering high-quality commercial, government, and municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves working on a variety of projects including sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ADA ramps, parking lots, public facilities, utility infrastructure, and commercial developments.

    The successful candidate will take pride in producing quality workmanship while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance.


    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare subgrades and forms for concrete placement.Place, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces to project specifications.Construct and finish sidewalks, curbs, gutters, driveways, ramps, slabs, and other concrete structures.Read and interpret construction plans, engineering drawings, and project specifications.Operate concrete finishing equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.Apply finishing techniques including broom, smooth, exposed aggregate, and decorative finishes as required.Ensure compliance with project quality standards, municipal requirements, and safety regulations.Work closely with project supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and other trades.Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.Assist with site preparation, form setting, and concrete placement operations. 


    Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum 5 years' experience in concrete placement and finishing.Experience working on commercial, municipal, or public works projects preferred.Ability to read plans and work from grade stakes and elevations.Knowledge of concrete curing methods and finishing techniques.Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements and construction best practices.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training is an asset.Ability to pass background checks or site-specific security requirements for government projects, if required.

    Atlantic Pacific Standard (APS) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. We are a rapidly expanding commercial and government contractor specializing in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, process piping, steam, and industrial construction. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who can successfully manage projects from estimating through closeout while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment where quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial, municipal, federal, and industrial mechanical construction projects.Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements, risks, and opportunities.Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, subcontractor, and material pricing.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.Prepare bid proposals and participate in bid strategy meetings.Manage awarded projects from contract execution through final completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.Coordinate procurement of equipment and long-lead materials.Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.Review and negotiate subcontractor scopes of work.Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents.Monitor project costs and profitability while identifying cost-saving opportunities.Conduct site visits and assist field supervisors in resolving technical and construction issues.Ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Support business development by identifying upcoming bidding opportunities and cultivating client relationships.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical construction estimating and project management.Strong knowledge of:HVAC systemsCommercial plumbingSteam and boiler systemsProcess pipingMechanical equipment installationExperience managing federal, municipal, commercial, or industrial construction projects preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Experience preparing competitive estimates using industry-standard estimating software.Excellent understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Foundation, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, BuildOps, or similar construction software is a plus.Valid real ID driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites and obtain government base access.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Mechanical engineering or construction management degree preferred but not required.OSHA 30 Certification preferred.Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects.Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, Davis-Bacon, certified payroll, and government contracting requirements is a plus.

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support commercial, industrial, and government construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in regulated environments, the ability to read and interpret construction documents, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and government facilitiesPerform work in accordance with NEC, local codes, project specifications, and contract requirementsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specificationsInstall conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, and control systemsCoordinate work with supervisors, other trades, inspectors, and client representativesPerform testing, commissioning support, and documentation as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsiteComply with all company safety policies and OSHA requirementsSupport projects that may require background checks, badging, or security clearances

    Required Qualifications
