  • Job DescriptionSimon 2 Neuro Medical unit is seeking an RN who is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
    2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
    3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
    4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
    5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
    6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
    7. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required:
    1.    Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
    2.    Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
    3.    BLS certification.Preferred:
    1.    Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
    a.    All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
    2.    Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
    3.    1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
    4.    ACLS certification.

  • Job DescriptionPrincipal Accountabilities:

    Provides respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician and according to established standards and practices.Evaluates prescription, checks patient information to assess patient condition and determine requirements for treatment, and order processingKnowledge regarding homecare servicesCPAP/VPAP set ups in the officeSets up and educates patient on how to operates devices and utilize equipment such as CPAP/VPAP machines, humidifier, masks, hoses/tubing, etc.Observes equipment function and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum results to therapy. Facilitates services for home care patients such as O2 orders, nebulizer orders and CPAP orders.Monitors and Maintains adequate levels of supplies.Reviews and responds to patient requests via phone calls, in basket and my chart messaging.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCustomer Service FocusedGood organizational, prioritization and critical thinking skills.Maintains medical records and documentation in accordance with all HIPAA laws and regulations.Assists in the performance of diagnostic testing by performing pulmonary function tests to be used by physician in diagnosis of case.Other duties as assigned.Education:Associate of Science degree from an accredited respiratory therapist program, required.Bachelor's Degree, highly preferred. Relevant Experience:1+ years of Respiratory Care experienceCritical care experience, highly preferred.Previous experience with PFT studies and cardiopulmonary testing, highly preferred.Current or past experience with EPIC charting, highly preferred. License/Certification:Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), required.Active license for Respiratory Therapy in New Jersey, required.Basic Life Support certification required.   • Job DescriptionResponsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
    2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
    3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
    4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
    5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
    6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
    7. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required:
    1.    Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
    2.    Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
    3.    BLS certification.Preferred:
    1.    Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
    a.    All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
    2.    Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
    3.    1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
    4.    ACLS certification.
