Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Plant Administrator to be based out of Louisville, KY. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for working directly with the production, human resources, maintenance, quality and shipping departments in the areas of data entry, record keeping, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of administrative experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. What you'll do: Preparing reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies, answering phones and maintaining records management database systems. Manage information, organize, and maintain paper and electronic files, ensuring files are updated and maintained Responsible for data entry for daily reports and for generating complex recurring reports; creating charts, graphs, and technical documents Run queries and analyze data for reporting to Customer Service Manager and VP/GM Manage Purchase Order process for the site, receive all invoices for the site, and issue finished goods into computer database Back up for Inventory Control Maintain quality hold and new parts workbooks as well as daily scheduled production pounds reporting Complete Returned Material Authorization adjustments Support EHS and safety auditing and reporting Arrange all necessary preparations and follow-up for meetings, including timely notifications, distribution of meeting materials and decisions/actions, and appropriate reminders What you'll bring: Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent Associate's Degree with Business Administration focus preferred; or 2-3 year of administrative experience in a manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Blend Operator's primary focus will be to blend raw materials into PVC compound based on specified formulas. What you'll do: Read and interpret the production schedule in order to evaluate upcoming compound blending and storage requirements. Accurately estimate compound needs to support extrusion while determining which silos or hoppers to route material for efficient production. Make adjustments to the blender controls and hoses to be certain that the proper blending for daily inventory reporting purposes. Safely operate forklifts to move material to and from blender area scales and the warehouse. The operator must ensure that the right quantities and correct materials are available for efficient blending.
