    Job Duties
    Classroom InstructionInstructs 7th and 8th grade students in assigned core content subject area. Instruct students in related elective subjects based on the master schedule.Creates a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best. Utilizes academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics and assessments aligned to Athlos’ 3 foundational pillars of a Prepared Mind, Healthy Body, and Performance Character. Plans, prepares, and delivers instruction that engages students and ensures student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level standards. Uses data to inform instructional decisions including summative and interim assessments and daily formative assessments. Differentiates instruction based on individual needs, learning style, and abilities.

    Classroom InstructionCollect the Literacy and numeracy screening results from K-3 teachers and identify students who score Below and Well Below. Collect prior year LEAP ELA and Math results for 4th and 5th grade students and identify students who scored Unsatisfactory, Approaching Basic and Basic.Create a roster of identified students.  Within 30 days of identifying eligible students, create a schedule to offer 30 minutes of tutoring during WIN time, three times a week, up to 10 weeks for identified students in groups no larger than four (schedule must be approved by the Principal).
