    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The Sporting Club at The Bellevue features nearly 100,000 square feet of health, fitness, athletic and social facilities. The facility includes a basketball and pickleball court, state of the art fitness equipment, private saunas, an indoor Olympic sized pool, and various fitness classes. Additionally, the club features 2 squash courts and a golf pavilion with 3 simulators, a hitting net and putting green. Recently, the Sporting Club has gone through a complete renovation transforming it into the ultimate health and wellness destination in Philadelphia.

    The Sporting Club at The Bellevue is hiring energetic, results-oriented, dedicated Group Fitness Instructors to join our growing team.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Must be 18 years of age or olderPrior experience instructing group fitness classes in specified formatsEnsure that the Fitness Studio(s) are clean, organized, and in safe working orderMust have current Nationally-accredited Group Fitness certification or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment, or have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e., Kinesiology, Exercise Science, etc.)Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is requiredMust arrive for class on time and in appropriate athletic attire or Sporting Club provided topMust be friendly, vibrant, and outgoingMust have access to regular email and phone communicationMaintain consistent adherence to all Club policies and procedures as delineated in the HandbookOther duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements:

    Must be 18 years of age or older1-3 years prior Group Fitness experience preferredCurrent CPR/AED and first aid certification preferred

    Technical Skills/Knowledge:

    Proficient use of studio equipment and technologyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust possess honesty and personal integrity, passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industryExcellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include: standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching, as well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. Ability to promote fitness and complete workout classes each shiftAbility to communicate effectively with members, staff, and guests

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, and tours to new and existing membersDesign results-oriented personal training sessions for clients and prospective clients Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to Club standards. Provide a high level of personalized attention to membersMaintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and productsUpdate and maintain the Personal Training App/member portal including session information, assessments, and workoutsInstruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 poundsAdjust and operate all fitness equipmentParticipate in In-Club Trainer Education seminars and attend Personal Training related meetings and fitness themed special eventsOpportunity to train one-on-one, small groups, and teach group fitness classes Other duties as assigned.

    The Sporting Club at The Bellevue has an exciting opportunity for a Biling Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and experienced professional who can ensure our Club is operating in accordance with our established policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Billing Coordinator oversees the preparation of the complete billing function for the Sporting Club members, and ensures that the club members are billed correctly by updating all dues and services payments.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    · Process and execute monthly billing for all members on the first of every month.

    · Review membership agreements for all members and enter appropriate billing information into Club Automation software.

    · Communicate with the Director of Membership Sales regarding any questions on new or existing members accounts when needed.

    · Communicate with the Controller with billing issues with cash received daily and billing total on the first of every month.

    · Respond immediately to any member or sales staff regarding any billing questions or account issues that arise.

    · Other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements:

    · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

    · 2 years of billing experience preferred

    · Demonstrate competency in various software / IT programs

    · Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
