    SUMMARY

    Assist Supply Chain Management with administrative duties and Purchasing Department with various

    duties as needed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Administer supplier approval/re-approval process.

    Maintain current supplier profile information in ERP.

    Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and updates in the ERP system.

    Maintain accurate and up to date supplier profile information within the ERP system..

    Assist Purchasing Department with the disposition of non-conforming parts as needed.

    Obtain supplier quotes for Purchasing and Estimating as needed.

    Maintain and update supplier records, pricing lists, and product information in company databases.

    Assist Purchasing Department with purchasing items as needed.

    Resolve Accounting discrepancies with suppliers.

    Maintain organized filing systems for procurement and logistics documentation.

    Assist with intercompany purchasing and supply chain tasks.

    Assist the Purchasing Department with purchase order preparation, tracking, and follow-up as needed.

    Assist with inventory tracking, material availability checks, and order status updates.

    Represent the company in a professional manner when interfacing with customers and suppliers and build positive and favorable relationships.

    Follow company policies and procedures.

    Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

    Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization

    (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or GED and 0-2 years of ERP and Purchasing experience required.

    College degree or advanced schooling/training in Supply Chain Management preferred.

(VLI) is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers to support the construction, maintenance, and modernization of USAF Noise Suppressors, Engine Test Cells, and Hush Houses. This is a 100% travel-based position supporting projects on military installations throughout the United States and, potentially, overseas.

    Job Overview
    The Skilled Laborer provides essential field support to construction crews and skilled trades personnel. This position assists with material handling, site preparation, equipment operation, and general labor activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Assist welders, iron workers, sheet metal workers, mechanical installers, and other skilled trades personnel on construction projects.
    • Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
    • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
    • Assist with construction site setup, preparation, and cleanup activities.
    • Support installation, fabrication, assembly, and construction operations as directed.
    • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
    • Follow all company safety policies, project requirements, and customer regulations.
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
    • Work effectively as part of a team to meet project schedules and objectives.
    • Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and skilled trades personnel.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • 1–3 years of construction, industrial, manufacturing, or labor experience preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
    • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, and working in varying environmental conditions.
    • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Travel & Field Benefits
    This position is ideal for individuals seeking travel opportunities, steady project work, and advancement into the skilled trades.

    Travel Benefits
    Eligible employees may receive:
    • Daily per diem paid in accordance with current GSA rates while traveling.
    o 75% of the applicable per diem rate on the first and last day of travel.
    o 100% of the applicable per diem rate on all full travel days.
    • Lodging reimbursement up to current GSA lodging rates.
    • Mileage reimbursement between home and assigned work locations at the current federal mileage rate ($0.725 per mile for 2026).
    • Travel hourly rate pay for qualifying travel time and distances associated with project assignments.
    o Up to 4 hours of travel pay for travel up to 250 miles.
    o Up to 8 hours of travel pay for travel up to 500 miles, per travel day. [JK1.1]

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Interpret oral and written instructions, specifications, and engineering drawings

    Competence in interpreting drawing standards per ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and customer specifications

    Training and basic operations of the CMM with proven programs, set up and probe calibrations, and ARM operations on PC-DMIS

    Verification of current calibration on all measurement equipment used for product acceptance and reporting any damaged or nonconforming equipment to Quality Management

    Document CMM and manual measurements in quality records, AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, or other forms, as appropriate per process performed

    Validate prior Work Order and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sequences and complete required ERP transactions for Work Orders and Purchase Orders

    Support activities concerned with proposals, pricing, and contracts for sale of equipment, materials, products, or services.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Contract Administrator to significant customers

    Manage complex government and commercial contracts and subcontracts for supply, services, and construction projects.

    Develop and maintain customer relations.

    Liaison between customers and subcontractors.

    Ensure current awareness of market activity and customer requirements.

    Discuss and identify new markets and technologies with customers and inform all necessary internal parties.

    Assist in bid and proposal activity by reviewing proposal after bid/no bid decision is made.

    Review final quote file for accuracy, completeness, and conformity.

    Follow up with customer on award status of contract/purchase order.

    Review terms and conditions on contracts to insure completeness, accuracy, and conformity.

    Ensure all certifications and representative reports and other exhibits required for contractual compliance are prepared, maintained and when necessary, submitted to customer or proper authority.

    Monitor customer contract/purchase order with respect to scheduling, budget, changes, and customer requirements.

    Provide customer with contract/purchase order status.

    Interface with functional departments involved in customer contract/purchase orders through completion of the contract/purchase order.

    Initiate and analyze job status reports with respect to labor and material budgets, material details, shipping status and overall monitoring of the contract/purchase order.

    Submittal of Potential Change of Scope form which provides early notice to customers that a change to the project may affect budget and/or schedule. Ensure PCS form is reviewed by Atec management and submitted to customer in timely manner.

    Advise all necessary departments of contractual rights and obligations.

    Ensure all contract/purchase orders and modifications are properly implemented into electronic system.

    Issue Contract Management instructions as necessary to properly inform other departments of special requirements.

    Resolve financial issues with customer.

    Review and submit invoices to customer as necessary.

    Assist with export regulations compliance (ITAR and EAR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and perform customer screening using the government Denied Person’s List.

    Assist with obtaining and compiling reports for the Quarterly Report and Board Meetings.

    Coordinate all necessary functions with PMs.

    Assist PMs with all project processes.

    Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
