    Guest Service Team Leader /Part time / Evening and weekends availability required

      Multiple venue locations:

    United Center Rate Field

    General Responsibilities:

    Provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events at the United Center and Rate Field through knowledge of available guest services and facility familiarization. Provide supervision, support, and motivation to an event team of 20-25 Guest Service Representatives during events.

    Essential Duties: 

    Promote family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safetyMotivate and coach event staff to fulfill job responsibilitiesAssist the manager on duty in the resolution of guest concernsKnowledge of all venue amenities/services provided, the venue policies/procedures including evacuationKnowledge of company policies and proceduresCommunicate event and staff activity to manager on dutyProvide company reports and documents regarding incidents when necessaryAssign company equipment or keys when needed to employee for a designated areaAssist in the administration of ongoing Guest Service department training including AYS New Hire OrientationActively participation in company and facility incentive and reward programsActively promote company values, including equality, diversity, and inclusionMiscellaneous operational (day of event) duties as directed

     Qualifications:

    To perform the job successfully, the Team Leader must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Must be 20 years of age or olderMust have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experienceMust have a minimum of 4 years of direct customer service experienceMust have excellent leadership and team management skillsMust be energetic and willing to motivate event staff Must be available to work evening and weekend hours. Report times typically start at 4:30pm on weekdays and any time on weekend days.Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 5 hoursAbility to lift up to 25 lbsMust be punctual and able to comply with attendance standardsMust be willing and able to comply with all grooming and uniform standards. Extreme hair color, extreme facial piercings, and facial or offensive tattoos are not allowedAbility to work both locations (United Center & Guaranteed Rate Field)

    Additional Information:

    Starting Pay Rate = $20 per hourAverage hours will not exceed 20 hours per weekAverage work hours will not exceed 1000 hours per calendar year The individual may be required to sit or walk up to 2/3 of the work shift The individual may also be required to use their hands, stoop, kneel or reach with their hands up to 1/3 of the work shift The individual may also be required to lift up to 10 pounds up to 2/3 of the work shift The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
