Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise a staff of DSRs and participate in hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
- Accountable for the DSR team's achievement of bi-weekly/monthly sales goals.
- Responsible for ensuring that the DSRs are knowledgeable of and comply with company policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s services and pricing structures and ensure that the DSRs have a working knowledge of the same.
- Provide sales coaching and training on an individual basis and through regular team meetings to improve sales results and drive targeted profitable growth. Activities may include “ride-along” with sales personnel to provide training and coaching, as well as going on customer appointments.
- Meet regularly with sales personnel and management to review sales activity, customer retention and relationship activities, competitive challenges, review sales performance compared to goal, and identify and/or address training needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two or more years of progressive experience in a sales supervisory or management role, including experience training, mentoring, coaching, and setting standards (sales management with telecommunications experience is preferred).
- A proven track record of sales success and some management experience.
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills within the organization as well as with customers.
- Minimum travel required, but candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle for getting to and from assigned territories.

Base Salary: The base salary range in Massachusetts for this position is $55,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations.
Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment could be up to $50,000 annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Execution of monthly and quarterly close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
Implement database to automate commission calculations through Spiff.
Prepare journals, account reconciliations and perform fluctuation analysis
Ownership over commission arrangements.
Support quarterly review and annual audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility and help develop/refine accounting processes and procedures.
Work cross functionally with Finance, Legal, AP, and various business owners on policies, processes, and help drive key system initiatives and improvements.
Participation in special projects, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses.
Other duties as assigned.

The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers for a top telecommunications company in the region. A Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Representative, Single-Family:
Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within an assigned territory
Identify and sell appropriate products and services to meet the customer’s needs
Sales or marketing background in telecommunications a plus
Engage in technical discussions with potential customers through demonstrations and presentations
Execute the sales strategy to increase sales within respective territories
Prepare sales information for customers
Distribute marketing material and participate in special sale events
Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the product/service line
Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
Enjoys working outdoors "on the hunt" since 90% of all work is in the field
Excellent communications, relationship building, organizational, presentation and influence skills
You have a positive, creative and persuasive personality

Job Summary
Astound Broadband is searching for a Fiber Splicing Technician in our Port Orchard, Washington area. This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality and timely deliveries of our fiber services to customers. This candidate will perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables for both inside and outside plant construction. They will be performing fiber panel audits and splice case audits, as well as properly placing mid-sheath splices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables for both inside and outside plant construction.
Perform fiber panel audits and splice case audits.
Properly place mid-sheath splices.
Test and troubleshoot fiber using an OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier and scope.
Perform installation and testing of fiber cross connects
Work with Construction Project Managers and Fiber Design to perform splicing as directed.
Provide Fiber Design team with detailed reports of field splicing activity.
Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as: OSHA, FCC, NESC and NEC, etc.; as well as following procedures as outlined in the Installation, Technical, Operations, and Safety Manuals, and Employee Handbook).
Clean, maintain, stock and secure equipment.
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision.
Participate in engineering, permit and construction processes.
Construct proper splice cases pressurized and non-pressurized, using all types and sizes of cable, including, but not limited to: grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage and sealing.
Make precise recommendations for changes in running fiber optic cables and provide input into construction methodologies.
Assist in scheduling splicing jobs with Construction Managers and/or Fiber Design.
Assist in training and support for Fiber Splicer I-II.
In coordination with Construction Manager, prepare required Wimps needed with the NOC for all maintenance splicing required.
Work with Fiber Design on required parts and equipment.
Work flexible hours as needed and on-call rotation which may include nights and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Requirements/Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
5+ year of splicing experience with the ability to properly place a mid-sheath splice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient with construction equipment, hand tools, fusion splicer, OTDR, fiber identifiers and scope.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to adhere to Local and Federal regulations and company policies.
Strong organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Basic computer skills and understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word and Google Suite (Docs, Drive and Mail) and Smartsheets.
Perform prep and fusion of Ribbon fiber and single mode.
Intermediate understanding of proper safety construction practices.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, as well as on call rotation.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without supervision.
Ability to drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to live within 30 miles, or maximum of 1-hour commute during regular commuting hours from the assigned territory. Territories are defined by management and can be altered at any time.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry, climb and operate an extension ladder (approx. 28 ft high and 75 pounds).
Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
Vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work while standing 50 - 70% of the time.
Ability to perform job from high places (i.e. towers and roofs).
Ability to be exposed to dust, dirt, noise, insects and cleaning solutions.
