    The Instrumentation Technician will support the 59 TES Flight Test Data Center (FTDC) in the planning, development, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced airborne instrumentation systems for fighter aircraft including F-15E, F-16, F-22, and F-35. This role is critical to ensuring mission readiness and successful data collection for operational test missions.
    Responsibilities: Develop, integrate, and maintain one-of-a-kind airborne instrumentation systems.Perform calibration and troubleshooting of systems including video and digital data recording, telemetry, and weapon function monitoring.Operate and maintain electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.Conduct system functional checkouts, cockpit integrity checks, data uploads/downloads, and mission configurations.Coordinate instrumentation requirements and schedules with Operations and Aircraft Maintenance Units.Interpret technical data including schematics, blueprints, and specifications.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.Support post-mission data analysis and ensure compatibility with data reduction systems.Assist in the movement, storage, and loading of instrumentation systems.Participate in flightline maintenance operations and additional duties as assigned (e.g., COMSEC, QA Augmentee, HAZMAT).
    Qualifications:Level I: 2+ years of aircraft instrumentation experience.Level II: 5+ years of aircraft instrumentation experience.Level III: 10+ years of aircraft instrumentation experience.Practical knowledge of electronic principles and aerospace instrumentation systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment with minimal supervision.Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.Experience with instrumentation systems such as QRIP, DART/eDART, RTAS, GLite, CRIIS, ADAP, ARIP, AARI, FCR, HSDR.  (Preferred)Familiarity with T-2 aircraft modifications and operational testing environments.  (Preferred)Prior military or DoD contractor experience in flight test instrumentation.Secret to Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsible for monitoring, locating, and scheduling the movement and control of maintenance equipment as well as performing periodic inventories and utilizing computer programs to assure equipment records are complete and up to date.Responsible for the distribution of existing maintenance equipment to customers. Responsible to help customers with the procurement of maintenance equipment, parts and supplies. Responsible for receiving orders and equipment for Data Labs. Prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, development, acquisition and delivery of integrated logistics support requirements for systems or equipment. Assess all requirements necessary to coordinate ILS functions.
    Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.Proficiency in inventory control systems and DoD logistics procedures.Experienced in controls of all stock and inventory control. Experienced in supporting logistical activities for flight test organization.     The Steel Worker Technical Trainer will be involved in developing and refining construction module training packages to provide familiarization of the various Rate related subjects by extracting content from the NAVEDTRA manuals, and various recognized construction references and codes. Additional responsibilities include developing and refining module execution packages, including tool and material lists, to facilitate hands on field instruction and execution.  Construction module products include plans, Power Point presentations, module practical application guides, monthly metrics briefs, and facilities level utilization and scheduling briefs.

    Location:  Naval Construction Group ONE, Naval Base Ventura County: Port Hueneme, CA 93043Job Description/Responsibilities: Provide technical SMEs on site at the STTs to have standardization throughout the Naval Construction Force (NCF).Responsible for constructing module mockups prior to the start of construction modules to enhance the learning environment and ultimately assist the crew members in achieving construction objectives when executing any of the Seabee Technical Trainer Modules.  Steel Worker Technical Trainer modules include Mig Welding, Tig Welding, Sheet Metal Welding, Arc Welding, and Steel Fabrication.Provide day to day administrative, technical, and operational support management of the NCF STTs.Provide instruction on approved topics, review practical application guides, tools, and material list to facilitating the management and execution of the established STT construction modules.Provide specific field construction supervision during hands-on practical trade application events that directly correlate to the content found in the Steel Worker Navy Education Training (Steel Worker Basic NAVEDTRA 14250A, Steel Worker Advanced NAVEDTRA 14251A), Seabee Construction Management (SCM) User Manual, Rate Training Manuals, and current industry building codes and standards (D1.1/D1.1M: 2020 Structural Welding Code Steel).     The Builder Technical Trainer will be involved in developing and refining construction module training packages to provide familiarization of the various Rate related subjects by extracting content from the NAVEDTRA manuals, and various recognized construction references and codes. Additional responsibilities include developing and refining module execution packages, including tool and material lists, to facilitate hands on field instruction and execution.  Construction module products include plans, Power Point presentations, module practical application guides, monthly metrics briefs, and facilities level utilization and scheduling briefs.

    Location:  Naval Construction Group ONE, Naval Base Ventura County: Port Hueneme, CA 93043Job Description/Responsibilities: Provide technical SMEs on site at the STTs to have standardization throughout the Naval Construction Force (NCF).Provide day to day administrative, technical, and operational support management of the NCF STTs.Provide instruction on approved topics, review practical application guides, tools, and material list to facilitating the management and execution of the established STT construction modules.Provide specific field construction supervision during hands-on practical trade application events that directly correlate to the content found in the Construction Builder Navy Education Training (Builder Basic NAVEDTRA 14043A, Builder Advanced NAVEDTRA 14045A), Seabee Construction Management (SCM) User Manual, Rate Training Manuals, and current industry building codes and standards (American Concrete Institute, American National Standards Institute, National Electrical Code). Responsible for constructing module mockups prior to the start of construction modules to enhance the learning environment and ultimately assist the crew members in achieving construction objectives when executing any of the Seabee Technical Trainer Modules.  Builder Technical Trainer modules include Basic Masonry I, (CMU) Basic Concrete Placement and Finishing Basic Carpentry I, (Wall framing) Basic Roofing, Basic Concrete Form Work I (Walls/Columns) and Basic Drywall Installation and Finishing.Manage the schedule, construction material, tools, equipment, consumable, and facility maintenance of the construction STT modules to sustain daily operations at the STT.Qualifications/Skills/Experience/Education:At least 8 years’ experience in respective construction/trade occupational field.  Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an instructor, or as a construction Crew Leader/Project Supervisor.At least 5 years of experience documented through work experience from the private sector, military or both, or appropriate valid certifications equivalent to the NEC 805A and/or Master Training Specialist Certification.Education: High school diploma or equivalent - General Educational Development (GED) certificate.Possess extensive knowledge of construction management principles including planning, estimating, material take-off, resource leveling, project site layout, techniques of foremanship and actual construction experience.  Experience/expertise as it applies to construction and construction trades.Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local security procedures is required. Strong working experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required.  Working knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Project to prepare reports/briefs and input/extract data.Working knowledge of the content found in their specified occupational field’s (builder) NAVEDTRA manuals and industry references and codes.  Must have a working knowledge of the information found in the SCM User’s Manual.Possess knowledge of Navy OF-07 structure and be familiar with all construction related vocations.Familiar with the open purchase ordering process and the use of prime vendor ordering.Work independently or as part of a team with strong customer service, telephone skills, and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Possess a strong understanding of construction math skills and be able to use a calculator.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise initiative in gathering, assembling, collate, and analyzing information for completion of assigned tasks.Willing to spend substantial time in a field training environment or on assigned travel (TAD or Mobile Training Team).Have and maintain valid CPR qualification.Ability to operate visual information equipment (LCD projectors, smart boards, document cameras, or other visual aid equipment) that can be utilized as training aides.Must be a U.S. Citizen (proof of citizenship required) and able to obtain a favorable determination from a National Agency Check Local Agency and Credit check (NACLC) investigation. Must maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance.Work environment requires executing field construction activities requiring prolonged standing and working in an active construction site environment. Additional physical demands require use of power hand tools, lifting or construction materials and climbing of ladders. Personnel will have to maneuver on, around and under structures in the performance of their duties. While working outdoors the contractor employee shall be required to work in inclement or hot weather.
