    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionJob SummaryThe Aspire Advanced Practice Provider is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction they have, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision everywhere including providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above. They will share responsibility with their peers and the rest of the clinical team to ensure the clinic is running smoothly. They will exemplify integrity in everything that they do, always doing what is best for our team and our patients.

    Monday- Thursday 7 am -5 pm

    How You Improve Our Patients Lives!Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions.Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests.Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations.Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as:Administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT)Nasal endoscopyEducate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use.Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR within 24 hours of their visitOversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing both Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing.Provide pre-op and post-op evaluation and treatment after a variety of surgeon performed sinus procedures.Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep. to help garner credibility and market Aspire.Adhere to standard metrics:Testing: 50% minimum threshold Treatment: 30% minimum thresholdIOP Conversion: 7% minimum thresholdOther duties as assigned.
    Knowledge & Skills Needed to be SuccessfulRequired education and experience3+ Years of Practicing as a Physician Assistant/Nurse PractitionerGraduate from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner ProgramCurrent Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardia Life Support (ACLS) Certified Must have a valid driver’s licensePreferred education and experiencePrevious experience working with an EMR/EHR systemKnowledge & SkillsEffectively communicate with Patients and clinical staffReact calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situationStrong attention to detailExceptional organization skillsEffective time management skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to manually take patient vitalsPossess the ability to maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public

    Schedule & Location:
    Flexible schedule, Monday–Friday. This position will float between our Austin-area clinics, primarily supporting our South and Central Austin locations. Candidates must be available to work Fridays in our South Austin clinic and Thursdays in our Lakeway clinic.

    Clinic Hours of Operation:
    Clinic hours are typically Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    Clinic Hours:Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Friday: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.Schedule Expectations:Required: Every Friday from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at our Westover Hills clinicPRN (as-needed) coverage based on clinic demandIdeally available to work Mondays and Fridays most weeksAdditional weekday shifts may be offered based on provider availability and clinic needsThis role offers flexibility while maintaining consistent Friday morning coverage.
