The medical teams will be located within a secure medical facility, where such services include, but are not limited to the following: Medical Screening (New Arrivals) Comprehensive Screening Sick Call 24-Hour Emergency Medical and Mental Health Treatment Women’s Medical Care Aspen Medical will provide additional EMS, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery services will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures. Requirements: Education: Degree Requirement, MD or DO Graduate from an accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in psychiatry Successful completion of an internship in psychology Experience: Minimum of at least three years of professional experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic to include group counseling, individual talk therapy, drug abuse and suicide/homicide intervention.     Minimum of 3 years’ clinic management experience in remote locationsExperience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment. Must have strong emergency medical/trauma care skills and have proven occupational health qualification, or equivalent experience in a construction and/or industrial environment site settingPost Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experienceKnowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

    Certification: 

    Certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)

    Job Duties to in included but are not limited to the following:

    Implement the site-specific Operating Procedures and Policies, medical plans and protocols, facility requirements, emergency procedures, audits & inspections, quality assurance, and other medical practice management tasksConduct quarterly, bimonthly and monthly audits as requiredManage and lead the day-to-day operations of the clinicsAid in the management of occupational rehabilitation, and return to workPrescribes medications within the statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions Nurse Practitioners and within applicable employer policies and procedures. Applies knowledge of pharmacology and evidence-based practice in selecting, prescribing, administering and monitoring the effects of drugs to treat medical conditions or injuriesUse the Electronic Medical Records Systems to ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records. Regular audits are to be conducted on medical recordsAssess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting at the clinic at a Clinical Nurse Team Leader / NP level as requiredMonitor the status of Project personnel hospitalized in regional facilities as requiredEnsure the main clinic dispensary is properly secured and a pharmacy management program is in place and implementedSupport project programs and preventative medicine activities as required, including, and not limited to health education activities, well-being programs, and mental health well-being programs
